You did a great job. Very emotional story when we think of where their futures would lead. The most perfect harmonies. I appreciate this very much and Thank you for sharing it.

If you are missing your family members, you really don't care all that much about the quality and that is how I feel about Paul & Artie. I have loved their songs since I was 10 years old and I have watched every doco/interview of them I can find multiple times over the years. They are like family. Thanks for posting.

Many Simon and Garfunkel songs make my cry because they are so full of emotion you become caught up in it. The Only living boy in New York is like looking back on the simple loving memories of childhood and it’s loss. Simon and Garfunkel were poets of music, lovers of women and woven into brothers. I can’t imagine music without them and I carry them in my heart wherever I go.🙏💕🙏💕

Bridge over Troubled Water is the only song in the world that can make me cry every time. My mum used to sing it around the house whenever she was sad. Makes me think of her

It was interesting to learn how their timeless songs were created; the musicians involved and the engineering of how different sound effects were put together. So much love and passion put into them, no wonder their songs are beautiful!

i always loved your first album. that song THE SKY IS BURNING is so sad. and i myself prefer the version of SOUNDS OF SILENCE from your first album too. much mellower and you can listen to the words easier too. LAST NIGHT I HAD THE STRANGEST DREAM is so nice too. class of 1973 here .and there was a time in my life when i only played your albums everyday too. thats when i had the biggest celebrity crush on Art. because of Carnal Knowledge. i saw it 3 times.and catch 22. i used to sit in my room by the hour and play your songs like Kathys song. God bless both of you. im 66 now. your fan.patrea

Thank you for this. No better way to kick off 2022. I miss this music and the generation of growing up in the 60s. Today with a rather cold world with 2 years of a pandemic and such political divide, it is nice to go back in time if only briefly. Thank you for this gift.

Simon and Garfunkle songs shaped my youth. They made me appreciate harmony and because of their sweet songs I was able to learn to play the guitar (not that well though). But these two geniuses will stay forever as source of inspiration and embodiment of beauty through their songs and musical genius.

I’ve gone back to S and G lately and got those live CDs from 68 and 69. Great stuff, as is the enhanced CD of Bridge with the DVDs. Looking for America is another great doco. My fave song of all is The Only Living Boy in New York. That and America. I think the symphonic ending of Bridge kind of spoils it a little. O don’t we need good stuff like this now. These guys put the music and artistry first. No gimmicks, no lewdness, no dirty dancing! It’s music from another better world. God bless you Paul and Arty. Your music has brought us peace and joy.

At 4.07. Art says : u were at the top of yr game. U knew that girls were available. Really Art. Was the girls so important to u. Not the income from record sales. Not making great music. But the fancy girls like models etc were what mattered to u. Paul was different. More classy.
@aneleaveizam2 жыл бұрын
when Art was thinking about girls Paul was busy writing those amazing lyrics and songs for both of them to sing. (no shade to Artie tho lol)
