Some good videos, found your channel through your connect timing belt guide. I’m actually breaking a sea grey mk4 mondeo if you need anything by the way. It’s a zetec spec with the auto climate auto lights/wipers etc. Only thing no good is the engine.

Thankyou. I'm looking for a complete set of color coded exterior doors handles in X6 - Sea Grey. Also require roof aerial, one with GPS complete with loom - loom runs above windscreen & down ) O/S, A-pillar before going behind dash to satnav/stero unit.

@@PaulsTechChannel hi Paul bang into your channel re: mondeo upgrade mods here's where I'm at I got a mk 4 57 plate mondy titanium x with a bust engine my car is a mondy edge also 57 plate so I swapped out bumper for one with spots in it swapped out dash clocks whitch work fine swapped out power and heated seats done whst you said with the loom but lights up on switch but no heat swapped out all doors front work fine but rear ones don't central lock or work electric windows sorry it's a bit long winded any advice my freind many thanks

Probably long gone now, but i'd love to do this upgrade to my Mondeo, but can't afford £1,500 for a one-time-use VCM - how would I go about it?

i bet u cant do the side light mod when u lock the doors they side light come one

fantastic job! I'm going to subscribe, we have the same "trend" mondeo without any extra If you activate the front fog lights with the computer, do you also activate the folding of the mirrors with courtesy light or do you have to activate each thing individually? Do the modules and mirrors work for restyling? 11-14?

When in BCMii vehicle configuration you can select auto folding mirrors & front Fog lights in the same session. Same will works on Mondeo mk4 facelift (11-14)

@@PaulsTechChannel ok ok then it goes separately for what you comment.i already activated the front fog lights years ago at the dealership,that's why i was asking you.so i can use door modules and interior control from years 11-14 on mine from 08,right?

​ @GSL Mirrors themselves will work, but will require enabling under vehicle configuration. 11-14 mirrors have build in indicators (turn signal) not sure if wiring is present on pre-facelift for indicators ?. There are 2 types, folding heated mirrors and memory folding heated mirrors on later models.

Perfect, I am already having it clearer, I will install the new mirrors and activate the folding function. my new mirrors have a built-in courtesy light, does that light have to be activated? Or just connect the rear-view mirror cable with the new module finished in FC, will this light illuminate without the need to activate it with the program? Another question that is not clear to me is whether the door modules and the interior control with button for mirror folding must necessarily be all pre-restyling or can I use post-restyling (11-14)? that is, if they are all valid regardless of the year? sorry for asking you so much, happy new year

Hi . Can I put new mirrors from.a facelift Mondeo? With signal light on them?

Its possible. Although door wiring looms and main body loom, would have to be adapted, as wiring will be missing for indicator (signal)

Do I need to use UCDs to turn on the electric folding function?

Yes folding function has to be enabled in Body control module, I used Ford IDS to perform that

Do you know if the auto fold can be enabled through BCM config on Forscan with extended licence?

I got the titanium X (57 reg) with power mirrors but they don’t fold automatically? How do I get them to fold when I lock the car?

BCMII requires programming.

I would not recommend using cheap 3rd party devices/software to program modules. They do have a habit of bricking modules. Rendering them useless. It's safer finding someone local, who has the correct equipment to do it for you.

Actually when I try to look for the instrument cluster, they looks the same, but have different part number.. like 8M2T-10849-XD, or 7M2T-10849-DF and I see some more different numbers. How to know it's fits to my car?

So it's not enough to change the expensive controller; you have to program it in the computer? What a crap! By the way, your steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Yes unfortunately programming is required. I'm in the UK and have friends in USA and mainland Europe, they all say steering wheel is on the wrong side
