The oak and pines image--highlights and shadows--details and texture--fantastic! I enjoyed the video Paul and encouragement. Thanks and cheers from Texas!

Well done Paul. Local images is generally my life. That being said, I think some of what I get is ok and almost guaranteed that no one else has recorded these images. Something positive about that.

We were in that area last Tuesday. We wanted to visit Plankey Mill but it was closed due to filming ‘28 Years Later’ Part II so we walked at Allan Banks & Stoward Gorge which was lovely woodland next to the river. The tarn nearby is supposed to be good for wildlife.

Good one, Paul. Just found a new local road, takes me into granite boulders!

This has been my recent struggle/challenge lately which is taking good photos more locally in places that are not already good photography locations. Nothing is labelled, no pullouts or trails etc. It's not necessarily that the photos are better but when I do get a decent photo it feels more satisfying. Anyway half my photos so far are farms haha.

I love driving around in my local area for some roadside photography. But I too often end up just driving, as there are no places to park nearby the locations I find. And where I can fin a place to park, there is nothing to see.

I was quite taken with that lovely mossy tree arched over the path at 9.44. What do you think?

Hello Paul, i scout in my local area too. It´s easy to visit these spots several times and one day, you get the killer shot (light, fog, ...). So i was really interested in your video, your experience and your advices. To be honest: I´m disappointed. Image 2 is okay, but the others are boring and the hints are not really usefull. This is the video you shouldn´t have published. All others from you are far better. I´m waiting for the next video from you. Hope it´has more to say than this. Greetings from Germany from Bernd.
