Evolution is his first album of new material since 2007's In Between, and it continues his love of collaboration and lets conventional songs form within his whooshing sound collages. Adam Young turns "Eternity" into a genuine succinct pop dose, while "Heart Stop Beating," with Sarah Howells, takes frenetic dance beats into a realm where radio shouldn't fear. "If You Want My Love," with vocals from Caligola, further mines the pop song for a basic framework. But the album also wanders through instrumental patches where the skies open on the piano notes of "The Ocean" or traverse the dance floor with "The Sun After Heartbreak" and "Rock This."

What a true trance legend , I have seen him three times in the last 3 years and have loved his style since the nineties . I am fifty now and still loving pvd . He has stayed true to his style whilst evolving and taking his fans with him . Thank god for pvd 🙏🙏🙏🙏🎼🎼🎼🎼🎧
