I like to watch when I'm doing monotonous stuff, it keeps me productive.👍 I have a pretty similar Red Tron list I've been working on for about a year now, but I haven't considered Self-Assembler Ill have to try that out. My list is on Moxfield and it's called "Big Red", by Dadio if anyone wants to check it out. I just started my own channel and uploaded my first vid today, I plan on making a vid soon on my R Tron list.

with 4 expedition maps, maybe bog is better than 2nd relic in the board, just for density of graveyard hate

Bog is super slow and doesn't pressure the graveyard over time like relic. Turn one relic is often back breaking against terror.

I've tried that deck last FNM on my local store an it works a lot. I've just one doubt on familiar becausa personally I don't like very much. Those are my personal changes for the main deck - 3 Filigree Familiar - 1 Rolling Thunder - 1 Expedition Map + 4 “Name Sticker” Goblin + 1 Fiery Cannonade “Name Sticker” Goblin works a lot better to me, despite its "nombo" with Cannonade.

Familiar does feel very much like curve filler. I can see Name Sticker helping bridge the gap to the late drops when you don't hit tron. Would still prefer some form of card advantage, but can't seem to find the right card.

You strike right the point perfectly: it’s a filler. I’m looking for a better solution too. Name sticker goblin could be also a solution in case you need to play double red spell or two red spells and you have a single red source, even if you are in tron yet

Don't like doing repeats too often, but I did like the dredge deck so probably get back to that one. I'm sure there are cards that can be tweaked there.

I am the blue tron pilot. Kuldotha Burn is not a terrible matchup. Candy trails, blasts, and boulderbranch golem really help with that. The nightmare matchup is ub faeries. I've added the red splash to try to help with that matchup getting sideboard breath weapon and main deck fire//ice. I do think the deck is actually fairly competitive but I suck at the mtgo interface especially when playing tron bc of the mana not autospending.

If you go down filigree familiar for lembas, I think haunted fengraf could be worth it as a way to turn a map into spell late game.

I don't know why but watching mirrorshell crab dumpster people gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I agree it feels like this deck is missing something. The power level can be quite high but it seems like some sort of card selection or draw.

It's good if you expect to play against a lot of blue, otherwise I prefer the flexibility of Splitting up the damage that Rolling Thunder provides.

is there any reason to not play the full 4 of each tron land? I think this deck needs more ways to enable tron but idk what cards do that besides expedition map

I replied to a similar comment already, but this was just copy of a list. I suggest at the end that we could probably go up to 4 of each tron land. The reason it is this way currently is because you want to hit the red cards early and don't really care about hitting Tron until like turn 5. The only marchup where I think it really mattered was the Tron mirror.

Against caw gates you could just kill them with the second rolling thunder to the face in game 1, they were at 7blife and tapped out

I just double-checked, and the only times they were tapped out they had strands in the graveyard so it wouldn't have worked.

I just copied the list. Floyza's logic is that you don't need to hit Tron early but you need to hit red. I can see the logic, but I think with the 4 Oliphant you can trim 2 mountian for the other Tron lands. I have yet to test this though and you may just not hit enough coloured sources early game.
