UI Suggestion: Taking from Marvel Rivals, I think they should implement the UI element during hero select where you can see what hero your teammates are selecting but not locked in on, at a lower opacity like your own is.

Suggestion: When examining skins in the shop we should have the ability to pan, tilt, and zoom to fully inspect the costume.

Suggestion: I beg, add lobby/menu customisation so we can have the wallpapers and music of previous seasons or events. There may need to be some fine tuning or extra additions but I feel like it would allow people to have better agency over how they can customise their game apart from weapon and hero skins.

As someone who plays YuGiOh Master Duel, I think this would definitely be another cash shop item. Or, bare minimum, put it on the premium pass. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a slippery slope.

It's already possible through battlenet app (or at least used to be, didn't seem to work when I checked just now), but an actual in-game menu with backgrounds to pick would be far superior to looking up background IDs on the internet and going through the app. At the very least they could bring back some of the old backgrounds many of which were made unavailable back in season 9.

I love this, I’ve been playing counter strike recently and you can do this. customize what operator (T or CT), what weapon your operator is holding, what map the main menu is and of what music kit you have! Personalization goes a long way🤤

Suggestion: After tier 80 in the battle pass credits should be given to incentivise people to continue playing as currently you only get titles at this stage in the battle pass

If you get to tier 80, you play the game enough that they dont need to incentivize you anymord. You already play 50-100 hours a season, which is plenty of time to soak in the marketing and buy their skins.

​​@@BlueMadness666666I don't think that's the case. Last season I only played for the last 2-3 weeks of the season after arriving home from work and managed to get to level 90 or so. Edit: what I'm trying to say is that if I can complete it that quickly without even looking at the challenges and just playing quick play, then there's people who also will complete it that quickly.

Just remove "Making Progress" weekly challenge (maybe replace it with something else that's also fairly easy to complete without playing specific modes), and instead grant 15 credits per Progression Level. A bit less per level than it is with the challenge (which gives 150 credits for earning 8 levels), but potentially more in the long run - after playing for about 60 weeks (a bit over a year) I have level 800, times 15 that would've been 12k credits instead of 9k I've gotten from the challenges. Even now I know tomorrow I'm only going to do the bare minimum for dailies because most of the heroes I want to play are near reaching next level so I have less incentive to play before the next in-game week begins.

i hardly use credits tbh, but i was an OW1 player so i got a lot of skins and other cosmetics back then. this would be awesome for a lot of people, though! maybe throw in some coins to help us playing-since-2016 nolifes out here 😂

@@endless_del Yeah, especially for people who played only in current OW2. Right now you only get a limited number of credits from the battle pass, and it'll take forever just to get everything and you have to wait for the next season to get more credits. I think this should be in just so some people have the option to grind extra credits if they want to.

Small nuance on mei mobility: she can use wall to take high ground, meaning she can take some positions on point faster than other heroes.

4:20 Counterpoint: Mei's ice wall can get you over certain obstacles to get you back faster on certain maps or up to better positioning. I'd say it makes up for the boost cassidy gets from his roll most of the time.

I was just playing her yesterday and I thought it would be fun to get pushed a few feet backwards when she fires her alternate fire. Might allow for some Ash like tech to get her into the fight and make her feel a little less predictable

​​​​​@@fleafinder2972 that doesn't make any sense. Pushback is NOT a buff by itself, it will only add clunkiness to her gameplay so this is a bad change for her consistency. Ash players can decide when to use that knockback ability, now imagine if knockback pushes Mei to a corner where Reaper comes out of. And you obviously looking at the opposite direction from him. Yeah nah there's too much problems with that, Mei's secondary fire never was used like Ash's shotgun in fights, so why would you compare it to Ash in the first place...?

It’s just an option but the animation and feel of it is clunky anyways. If you don’t like it, that’s okay too. IMO her alternate fire is underwhelming and the character in general could use something to spice up her kit

12:10 this clould be implemented on a timer where when someone dc's it states "game will pause in 10 seconds" to allow current plays to continue, or to prepare for the game to halt. This also prevents abuse because 10 seconds can be a long time in a fast pace game like ow2

Follow up suggestion to the competitive match pause when a player disconnects: the pause only triggers after all members on the team with disconnection do not take damage for 5 (or 3, or whatever) seconds. Now you can't just pause during a losing fight and even if the disconnection is unintentional, this is the necessary compensation to ensure competitive integrity.

If we wanna be technical re:Mei's movement... Mei can use her icewall to move herself up to different levels that other characters without vertical mobility can't immediately access.

This. I was about to say this as well, she doesn't have horizontal movement, but the vertical movement allows her to save time by going over walls and skipping stairs or not having to go around to reach a place

@@Rikaisan The whole thing was that she has no horizontal movement abilities though. They mentioned getting back to the fight faster and every other dps has some way of doing that horizontally faster.

​@@xd3athclawx554 Exactly, getting back to the objective faster is something Mei does through vertical movement. Have you played her enough? Where other heroes have to take a long route (mainly go around objects and take stairs) she can just skip both when going into high ground and returning to point, you can walk in a straight line and place a wall to go over obstacles, time to return could be similar to Cass.

*Suggestion* Blizzard should expand on the hero progression system. Since they released it they haven't touched it and it feels like they released it half-finished and then forgot about it. They can start with basic things like making the menu itself look a bit nicer or even incorporating it into the hero screen. They should add some more rewards for the characters like a unique emote, highlight intro or hero skins (even if they are only recolours) a rare skin at level 10, an epic at level 60 and a Legendary at level 125. Just give players some more unique things they can show off on every character because right now it is only name cards, icons or titles and you can only use one at a time anyway. Also, retroactively readjusting the numbers for some of the sub-badge levels would be nice, for example, Mercy Blaster kills, Torb hammer kills and Lucio environmental elims require way too much to level up.

Suggestion: A map veto system. Let players vote on what map they want to play on from like three options of a gamemode. This would let the devs know which maps are most often avoided and could nudge them into fixing said maps.

I would propose a map / mode queueing system rather than a voting system, because queuing only for certain maps or modes means you spend no time in-match selecting a map.

I like this because it's simple, you load into a game vote on one map and then play the map with the highest votes. this would probably be only implemented in comp just because I don't think qp should have it.

@@OGEdgerNot really if it is developed properly, but I would say it would be easier to do with just modes rather than lumping in individual maps, too. People making no election are fills and would very likely be the largest group (100+ million players but not 100+ million views on videos like this one), then everyone else makes their selections on their own and queues accordingly. If enough people avoid modes like Flashpoint, Clash or Push, then the matchmaker should be de-prioritizing those modes increasingly over time to improve queue times. I thought about doing a voting system but being able to preset your votes for modes or maps on the settings screen and then your vote is auto-cast in a game. The issue there is that a mode you do not want could be picked by the team, leading to people still leaving once a bad/undesired mode is picked.

Suggestion: The question mark often doesn't apply, for example if you agree with one point but not another. You need a new icon for such situations, perhaps a tilde (~).

I like the idea of Winston grabbing folks and chucking them around, but Primal is good and doesn't need to be tweaked. If Winston didn't have primal rage then what was described definitely could work.

In regards to the DC to minutes window, I approve, however, you just put it on a delayed start. make it RNG to prevent "abuse" and make it anywhere from a 5 second to 15 second (similar to wave respawn timing/overtime respawn timing) that is randomly picked each instance, and you limit the abuse, provide people who, through no fault of their own, an opporunity to re-enter a game. I had a game recently where i had been duo queued, and we played 3 matches and on the 4th match, they were DC'ed. When they tried to join back after relaunching game, it specified they were on a "different version overwatch" We literally could no longer group after the game was over, we both ended up having to scan and repair in order to fix whatever the problem was. (and no, it wasnt through steam, solely battlenet, same accounts for 6+ years and first time we have seen this problem) . Blizz should do more to prevent the players from being penalized due to Blizzard glitches.

Already asked this suggestion but here we go again: With them adding mythic weapon skins, I think they should let you use ANY weapon with the skins you've unlocked. For example, I really like the Dracula weapons for reaper but the skin just doesn't sit with me so what if I could use the Dracula shotguns while using the Pumpkin King skin

Suggestion: The game should not auto-cancel (in a control, hybrid, flashpoint, or clash map) if the first point is captured, (in an escort map) if the first point is reached (I've not experienced this, but I've read that others have fwiw), (in a push map) if the new spawn is unlocked (thinking hypothetically on this one), or (in any map) if there is a Team Kill in the first 30 seconds. I'm sure it is a sample size of 1/anecdotal scenario, but I'll go on losing streaks, finally get on a team where we dominate immediately (take the first capture point and/or team kill), and someone on the other team rage quits the match quick enough for the match to be cancelled... then I go right back into a losing streak match. Feels so bad.

I disagree that mei would just chase like crazy, because if you have to shoot the floor then you are wasting bullets to get movement. So its a gamble between going faster and having a decent amount of bullets when you get to your target😊

Battlepass Suggestion: Bring back lootboxes in the battlepass. Give us a couple per BP, or maybe a set after completion as a prestige branch to fill in some of the lesser skins and other stuff not bought by the purchasable overwatch currency. Don't have them be buyable individually.

UI Suggestion: Give us more UI options (i.e., legacy UI, color changes, layout changes). This will help old and new players find their own setup, and lead to some goofy things as well. The only issue I can think of is the Mythic UIs being displaced or out of place due to swapped UI elements.

Not quite a suggestion, but a food for thought: What if Widowmaker had a laser showing where she's aiming at, Splatoon style? It's the main way that snipers are balanced there, shows the sniper's position and the maximum location they can reach with their shot (in Splatoon no "main" weapon has infinite range, for widow the laser would end where her max falloff starts).

That sounds like a great way to make it easier to read where to avoid a sniper shot. At the same time Widow could make space because space would be made in the threat of any squishy potentially getting one shot. Though given this is essentially a nerf maybe a buff would have to be given as compensation, like reducing grappling hook cooldown to let her reposition more.

for the second suggestion about the league skins: this is an accessibility issue i've been screaming about for years. abilities should be colored to your colorblind settings client-side only and it should NOT be locked behind a paywall of league skins. it's so frustrating to have this capability in the game for years but not be given access to it as a person who has difficulty seeing the color red at times. i don't think i'm colorblind, it's probably just a sensory issue, but all the more reason to have these features ACCESSIBLE to players because it affects numerous kinds of people and conditions. i can't imagine what it's like to actually be colorblind and have to deal with the fact that EVERYTHING is red and glowy on your screen 😭

I would like to see more controller options for button inputs. Some options I can think of is pressing both shoulder buttons to do an action , double/triple press options, or assigning an action to a long press. I assume some of these can be abusable but I think overall it would be nice to have.

Orisa without fortify is like Roadhog without damage reduction on take a breather. Roadhog would be absolutely melted and Orisa without fortify would too 😂 I don't think people understand that if you remove the core skill keeping a tank alive that the entire kit would need a rework and the survival ability would need to be replaced with another one or the tank needs a substantial armor buff to compensate.

Suggestion: You should be able to convert Mythic Prisms to Overwatch Coins at a ratio of 1:10 or 1:5. This allows players to get the next battle pass for free at the cost of Mythic Prisms (a 1:10 ratio would make it so you can only get 1 fully-upgraded skin every 2 seasons, while a 1:5 ratio uses all of your Prisms that you get through the battle pass).

Suggestion - Introduce a one-hero ban per role system at the start of every game in Overwatch, mirroring Rainbow Six Siege’s operator ban system. This allows both teams to influence the strategy by removing heroes that counter their preferred tactics or are considered overpowered in the current meta. Bans force players to adapt, increase tactical diversity, and reduce reliance on “crutch” picks. Every game feels more dynamic since you can’t always rely on the same strategies or characters. It encourages creativity, teamwork, and mastery of multiple operators. Overwatch could benefit from a pre-game hero ban system where each team bans one hero per role (Tank, Damage, Support) before the match begins. This system aligns with the idea of countering troublesome heroes and refreshing gameplay. - Banning heroes introduces a new strategic layer to gameplay. Teams can remove hard counters or problematic meta heroes, such as banning Ana to mitigate anti-healing strategies. -It prevents certain oppressive strategies from dominating, as heroes like Bastion, Kiriko, or Ramattra can be banned if they are too strong in specific patches. -The unpredictability of bans means that no two games would feel exactly the same. For example, if a meta-defining hero is banned, teams would need to pivot and come up with new strategies on the fly. With proper balance, hero bans could enhance competitive play by encouraging adaptability and reducing the dominance of certain strategies or overpowered heroes.

I see where you're coming from but I feel like this would result in a lot of people quitting matches when the hero they want to play is banned, leavers are already a significant problem in overwatch and I really don't think it's a good idea to give them another excuse.

About the game pause idea. Have it that you can only pause the game after a set time, say 10 seconds, of no one taking damage. Or if they could have a proximity detection. If two people on opposite teams are within a certain distance of each other, the game can't be paused.

Suggestion: The assault maps could be adjusted and reintegrated by adding a payload between objectives and extending the middle section a bit. Having to push a payload would slow the attacking teams advance after winning first point, and an extended midsection would add more potential chokes for team fights. Plus, since it would be a new mode, it could launch with five maps as opposed to the usual two. Second, smaller suggestion: Bring back moving platforms! They're stupid and fun, but they're missing in ow2 maps.

Suggestion: Make points A/E on clash worth 1 point for the defenders only once per match. You cap your 'spawn' point you get one point, if you get pushed back to it again you get no more points. It stops an initial snowball but then forces the team to actually push back to C to win

while we’re on the topic of compensation for cancelled games i really wish they would revert the leaver penalties for qp it’s so dumb. idc if someone leaves in qp half the time we get a new player like five seconds later and it has no bearing on the rest of the match, and the only impact it’s had on me personally is get me banned for ten minutes and lose endorsement level when my shitbox pc crashes which doesn’t even actually happen that much the penalties are just really severe for no reason

Suggestion: Junkrat should get a relative senstivity setting on riptire, similar to the one setting genji has on dragon blade. Its already a used technique for a good amount of junkrat players to press the dpi button when using tire to get a higher sensitivity and doing some rollouts that would be much harder if not imposible on normal sensitivity. I think having that as a setting would be a really nice QOL change for junkrat.

I’ve had multiple games recently where there’s a leaver on either team and it’s super surprising that the game doesn’t cancel. Situations where the person left probably right after the timer. I don’t think anyone would complain if that timer was extended to 3 mins at the very least, especially because everyone on the leaver’s team is penalized for their disconnect, intentional or not

The pause thing exists a lot in MOBAs. If someone leaves in a competitive or even if they don't, the team can vote to take a pause and each team gets 1 pause. It's very useful. Then anyone on the paused team can start a vote to unpause

Suggestion: To encourage more of a triage playstyle for Mercy, Damage Boost should become a resource that builds when you heal, so sort of like the inverse of Moira. And then when the one you're DBing deals damage, the meter drains equal to the additional damage. She would most likely need a compensation buffs though, maybe like making Valk cost less and having it give infinite DB for the duration, reduce GA cooldown, or something else of the sorts.

To reduce abuse of the pause, it could be on a 5-10 second delay. That way people would have time to recognize the game is going to pause for a DC and not put themself in an inopportune situation at the last second.

Suggestion: Add an arcade mode that allows people to play the ORIGINAL state of OW, with the original / middle hero roster, and abilities (ex: Sym shield generator ult, Orisa shield, Hanzo scatter, Mercy Rez ult, etc)

Suggestion: this one was probably brought up already, however: what about giving players either a map or game mode ban or map Preference choice either before starting a queue or when finding a game. Just like in CS (i think) you have e.g. 6 maps or 3 game modes to choose from. There are a ton of maps we can play and even several different game modes, some i barely play nowadays due to RNG. Giving players some agency about what they want to play could help with player retention. It might also give the devs indirect feedback on what game modes/ maps they could improve, based on the lowest pick/ highest ban rate.

Suggestion: In the options menu to change your controls, when changing the controls for a particular hero, it should show the name of each ability rather than Ability 1, Ability 2, etc.

Orisa: Fortify is how she tanks (spin too) but I was wondering about them changing spear toss back to her pull orb. Might make her feel a little less oppressive and encourage brawling. In the same vein, bring back damage falloff too. Mei: I was always against ground ice speeding her up in OW1 because she could literally freeze enemies in place, but now that she just slows people down I'd be fine seeing how it feels, especially since she's apparently the only DPS without a mobility option! For balance concerns, they should make her primary fire require cumulative contact of a few seconds (3 or 4 maybe?) before it slows enemies down. Ramattra: Vortex causing hinder sounds kinda badass but we'd have to playtest that first, would love to try it. Either way they DEFINITELY need to make vortex much higher!! They literally showed it pulling a Mercy out of the sky in the trailer but it's pathetically short. It only does that if they're directly above it, and prevents them from taking off. Aside from a handful of matchups, vortex doesn't feel like a very impactful ability. You just kinda...move out of the way.

You have no idea the power of information. Footsteps can be used to find flankers or at the start of a round to determine what hero’s are on the enemy team and relay the information to your team to play around their team comp. Vortex can be used in combat to know when an enemy is going to peek a corner. Never underestimate the power of a slow, it’s a cc and it makes them easier to hit and take longer to get closer to the objective.

Mei does have mobility in the form of ice wall, if you make a wall below your feet you can reach a ledge or a platform and escape or use normally unavailable high ground.

Javelin throw is one of six abilities that can interrupt most ultimates. Ana’s sleep dart Doomfist punch Mauga stomp Orisa javelin throw Sombra hack Sigma rock If you remove javelin throw certain achievements become unobtainable. It also kind of makes certain ultimates kind of unbalanced to fight against. Deadeye - Sigma Rock sleep dart and javelin throw are the only reliable ways to interrupt due to the range of deadeye. Gravitic flux - Rock dart and javelin are the only really reliable way to counter.

Competitive Game Suggestion: Completely remove the option for players to quit competitive matches. Once a match begins, players are required to stay until its conclusion. If a player leaves mid-game, they should face significant penalties. This change would help prevent early exits and ensure a more balanced and fair competitive experience for all players.

If u leave a few games you get banned for the rest of the season already penalties don't mean nothing for ppl that suck so hard they rage quit. It does suck for ppl that have something like PC that crashes or DC and can't get back in time. They should make it possible for ppl to join games that have a leaver but make it so that they can't lose SR only gain a little of they do win. I would use that as warmup all the time if they do that

I don't see how this effects anyone since it's possible to just turn off your computer or close the game entirely to leave. I don't think any program can get around that. And the game tells you you'll get a penalty for leaving anyways so I don't see how this helps anyone other than punishing people who have their computer crash suddenly and want to rejoin.

Suggestion: during hero select show allies' most played hero above their hero select box, and make it map dependent. This would help alleviate slow starting picks, especially if someone is AFK - i.e. my tank is coming back from the bathroom and I can see they usually pick Rein on this map so I can feel confident locking Lucio or Bap. Or if I see my support usually picks Mercy I can choose a hero that works well with her. This should be a smaller hero icon above their hero box, maybe put their top 2 since the hero boxes aren't flat on the top - they can disappear once they lock in a hero.

Suggestion: To scale with the increased hero health and added health regeneration, they should increase the amount of healing health packs give to make them more worthwhile. Small: 75 --> 125 Large: 250 --> 300

The game pausing is something I have also thought to myself about before and I would like it, I think a way to make it so it cant be abused could maybe be that its made so it will pause after about 10 seconds or something when someone leaves and is displayed so everyone has time to react.

To avoid abusing a dc leniency pause they could make the pause happen like 6 seconds after the dc. You wouldn't be able to use a dc reactively. That way most ults would still be able to play out and it wouldn't REALLY be much worse than if someone on your team fell off the map and was in spawn for that fight.

Suggestion: To make the new Sombra rework perfect, her translocator should be less obvious to detect / to tell where she goes. This gives you the opportunity to fight more with the Team and go for an assassination when you see the opportunity for it without being punished immediately. Would make her a great Opportunist in my opinion. Without all the hiding and sneaking around which isnt as much possible anymore.

Mei actually had that Iceman/Frozone ability in one of those experimental game modes back in the day. Might have been the same one that allowed her to kill enemies by jumping on top of them and turning into the ice block.

I think that genuinely if someone leaves your game mid match your team should receive a slightly reduced loss penalty by like they keep maybe five to ten percent more elo than the leaver themselves who receives a harsher loss due to leaving not sure if this is implemented somewhat already but I feel like it would make games with leavers infinitely less frustrating as with some ranks in particular people leave for practically any and every reason we could be wining 1 to 0 with half the objective but sometimes if you let one person die they tilt out of nowhere and just leave after spamming thanks and I need healing over and over it’s happened so many times I’m convinced the system as it is enables it.

1:31 those are errors happening at server side, means the server had issue not you or the other players, nothing you can do to avoid, so no one needs to know those, in fact revealing those would be a security flaw. Unless its something that could be caused by the player in which case we do get that information.

there actually are color changes with the OWL skin. For example when i play Kiri and use her ult with the dynasty skin the fox is gold. Not everything is but at least some small things.

Suggestion: They should change the criteria for some heroes to be able to achieve POTG. My main gripe is with Ana as she is my main, but there's some other heroes as well, mainly supports, that it just seems basically impossible to get a POTG no matter how much you pop off as them in a game. Perhaps they should give slightly more weight to Support assists/saves in the algorithm that decides the POTG or maybe there’s a way to factor in high leverage scenarios that lead to a round win For the record, I’m fine with it still being difficult, but I just want to see my highlight intro sometimes goshdangit!

Suggestion: Now that Mystery Heroes has role queue, bring back Comp Mystery Heroes (with role queue) and other "arcade" comp modes like deathmatch, but on a 2 week duration at the end of a season so that they don't fall flat near the start of the season like they did in the past. 2 week duration would also let them more cleanly bring back comp event modes like Lucioball and CTF as the duration would be familiar and not out of place. Could even expand it to ones like Mei's Snowball Offensive or (much less seriously) April Fools!

Suggestion for sombra: have her stealth be triggered by crouching for a second or two, similar to baps boots. Also increase it to 10 sec. Think about it, in most games how does one activate stealth? By crouching and slinking into the shadows. This would also make it so he kit doesn't need another button. You could still crouch like normal with a quick press.

Suggestion: for the reaper rework we haven't been updated on in ages, add the pull from the Junkenstein Arcade mode to his ult. It's a great idea and way to make his ult more valuable than the "find someone alone and solo ult them" meta with his current ult

Your point about fortify can be easily solved by making javelin spin more readily available. And fortify is just the core design issue with Orisa, any ability that makes you both more threatening and harder to kill will aways be terrible on tanks. I can see how having spin, halt and javelin on the same hero could get a little messy, but honestly most tank kits sounds messy in concept, and I'd still take that any day if it means one less raid boss tank that is just allowed to spam with no vulnerability window.

Suggestion: put sombra’s invis on alternate weapon. To go invis for 8-10 seconds, you just need to “switch weapons” like mercy or old weaver except with a small cooldown. This way, you don’t have to burn translocator just to go invis while still not having infinite invis and she can go back to playing flanks with better control over her own movement and cooldowns.

Suggestion- change endorsements back to cards post game. This way people who live by the scoreboard understand that other important things are happening besides kills, heals, etc. Also/Alternatively have the levels from voting provide ACTUAL incentives, my idea was any level 4 and above give 5 - 10% on battlepass(lvl4-5%, lvl5-10%)

Wow do you know what else is an interesting fact. Mei has 300 HP and can go invulnerable and it heals her and stalls the point forever and have a wall to stall even longer. Maybe that’s why she can’t travel back to the point faster. Also if it’s freezing the floor then how fast would it be? It’s not on CD so it’s basically forever. It would have to be very minimal if they wanna balance it then it wouldn’t even matter.

Suggestion: let us exchange the pre-prism mythic skins for prisms. Prisms mean if you like the bp but not the mythic you can save the currency, which is great. However before people would get the bp for the other skins and be stuck with a mythic they don't want, so if they retroactively apply the prism system they can get those prisms instead.

Format suggestion instead of 1 tank 2 dps and 2 supports it goes to 2 tanks 1 dps and 2 supports. Buff the healing reduction from the dps passive from 20 to 50 to compensate for the missing dps

I think in comp, if a player is disconnected or leaves in the middle of the match, after the 1 minute period, the match should be declared a draw for both teams and the only player to receive punishment should be the one who left. It's fucking unfair for the entire team to be forced to go through a frustrating 4v5 match or leave and receive a loss because of the person who left and didn't come back. This feeds elohell, even more so because most of the time it almost always happens in matches where I'm under elo protection.

As someone who plays Sombra for fun, this new "rework" feels pretty bad. Sombra should have the ability to contest most of the other dps at mid range, but she can't right now because because her gun spread is bad and hack is mandatory for a quick kill. They should turn hack into a skill shot and tighten her spread just a little so that she can have a more mid-line presence.

Wasn't the GPU error a common side effect of the 13th and 14th generation Intel issues? Meaning it was actually a CPU failure, not GPU. I am going from memory here so I may have wires crossed but I believe this is the case. Although it would only be relevant on a system with a 13th or 14th gen Intel CPU.

Small rework Suggestion: ana should be able to climb small walls and boxes if she jumps near a ledge like characters in "normal" fps games (such as CoD) since she is the only support (along with zen) that dont have any sort of movement ability

Possible hot take? This game has always been counterwatch it’s just that with smaller seasons we are speed running metas so for the average player it’s easier and quicker to just grab a counter rather than taking the time to learn how to overcome a countered match up.

Suggestion: Previous battle pass items should become available again and be bought with the coins/ free credits. It should work like how each mythic skin is alternated. This would help with stopping gate keeping of certian cosmetics.

Suggestion: Make Flashpoint maps smaller. Decreasing map size should improve travel times and hopefully increase encounter rates as well Giving a slight speed boost out of spawn is a lazy way to tackle the issue, and it quite frankly is still an issue. It's like putting a band aid on a bullet wound. It's not gonna fix the problem. Just cut the map fluff. Don't get me wrong. They're absolutely beautiful maps. Half of the map still isn't really used for anything though

What if instead of mei always being able to freeze the ground passively, they make it so that when you use your wall it has a pop up of the wall (like it already does) and if you left click, it places a wall and if you right click, it places a flattened version of the wall (same size, same dimensions) as a little ice path that provides mei movement speed and maybe slows enemies Then it would be on a cooldown and if you want to get to point faster like suggested, you can't use your wall? It comes with sacrifice

Suggestion: Specifically for console, please remove our Xbox/PSN gamertag from the name card. It’s pointless to have our Blizzard BattleTag and our console name especially if they are the exact same. Plus it covers up almost the entirety of my name card so I can’t even see my customization on the main menu.

Suggestion: Mythic skins should change spell effects and color to match the skin theme, even if it is just player side only, this would make mythic skins more worth it and gives them something to standout against some epic skins that are equal or better then the mythic skin.

Suggestion: You should be able to ping the cooldown of your abilities by pressing some other key and your ability key, like in league of legends. for example, if i'm kiriko and i want to communicate to my team that suzu is on cd i should be able to press Alt+e (or some other combo idc) and my team should see "Suzu - available in 6 seconds" or something. people are often not in VC so imo there should be another easy way to communicate ability cooldowns.

Suggestion : On push you should be able to teleport to the new updates spawn if your team gets the check point. They do it on flash point and pay load and hybrid but not push

to add onto the ability recolor idea, I always thought it was really dumb that the colorblind settings don't change ability appearance. You could set enemies to blue and teammates to red, but their abilities will be opposite. I don't use colorblind settings, but I always thought this was stupid. They clearly already have it in the code from OWL so why not just give it to everybody??

Losing or gaining rank progress should be based on your stats and effectiveness in your role within a match instead of your rank progress being based on Wins/Losses/Draw. It’s not fair that valuable players have to be dragged down in losing progress because 1 or 2 players didn’t care the entire time. I cannot physically control another teammate and their choices. It’s like when a teacher would punish the entire class because only two kids kept talking when she was trying to teach.

They used to do this in ranks below diamond. Not sure if that changed when OW2 came out. It did have its own issues. Overwatch is such a complex game that it's hard to quantify what stats are really contributing to a match. For example, the matchmaker used to compare your damage as Soldier 76 to all the other Soldier 76 players in your rank. This would encourage bad habits like shooting a Roadhog all game. This would inflate your stats vs. a soldier that focused down the supports or dps and confirmed elims.
