One Thing I have to say, These people make up probably one of the best MineCraft Communities out there... I have to admit, I don't think Ive seen one better then these guys are at all, even among my own friend. These guys are a good group of people who have fun playing MineCraft and messing around with each other pulling pranks and helping each other. If you swing too fast, some (most of) hits aren't counted on the mob, but still use the durability. FYI, also hitting a player with PvP disabled takes away durability. It applies in singleplayer as well, I've just tested, and with a wooden sword swung like a mad man against skeletons, I managed to kill only 4, against 14 when doing one hit per time.
