Great piece, wonderful playing! I am most familiar with the orchestral version but this is certainly the best I've heard it on piano. Good luck finding the original.

sad that so many great piano compositions become orchestrated and after that are only played in that form. Pictures at and Exhibition is another example. If you ever can hear the recording by Sviatoslav Richter, Ravel's 'big band' version will no longer satisfy.

actually I have no problems with Ravel's "big band" version :D but this one is absolutely incomparable, nothing is even close to piano solo for me here
