If you get an error as in the comments below, try to use: button = driver.find_element_by_xpath('//*[@id="RESULT_RadioButton-7_0"]') driver.execute_script("arguments[0].click();", button) P.S. You don't need 3-4 minutes in each video to show the same code, like import, driver, etc. Just use ctrl+c ctrl+v ._.

the problem of radio button or check box we can resolve it by the following instructions: radio_B= driver.find_element_by_css_selector("#RESULT_RadioButton-7_0") driver.execute_script("arguments[0].click();",radio_B)

Hi, what to do wen id is not der for radio button.. for example the radio button which i want to automate through selenium webdriver using python doesnt have an id  Including  as you can see above, in such cases what has to taken here in find method??Please suggest Thanks in Advance,

You can still find a radio button by its XPath, covered in one of the previous tutorials, but I'd like to know if there's a better way as well.

male_gender_button=driver.find_element(By.XPATH,"//*[@for='RESULT_RadioButton-7_0']") then click, the error message says click: but need to be 7_0, the form should have been updated after the video was released, that is why xpath for the element is different now

Hi, While trying to click with the below line of code - driver.find_element_by_id('RESULT_RadioButton-7_1').click() I am getting the below exception - selenium.common.exceptions.ElementClickInterceptedException: Message: element click intercepted: Element is not clickable at point (190, 650). But if I use the below lines of code, it works - status = driver.find_element_by_id('RESULT_RadioButton-7_1').is_selected() print(status) #Returns False driver.find_element_by_xpath('//*[@id="q26"]/table/tbody/tr[1]/td/label').click() #Clicks the radio button status1 = radiobutton_male = driver.find_element_by_id('RESULT_RadioButton-7_0').is_selected() print(status1) #Returns true Just wanted to know why for the .click() it works with xpath not id. But is_selected() returns true or false based on the actual when ID is used only.
