I slept once on the bare street just to attend to his master class in Salamanca Guanjuato, México. I will never forget his great touch and his beatiful aura.

Why am i just now hearing of Pavel. I have been playing since 2014 and am very familiar with bream, russell, williams etc but Pavel has never popped up on any search feed. A true master.

Well, he's Pavel Steidl. He's in a position, where 100.000 have failed to reach. Top of the heap. You don't' get to that place without some extraordinary abilities, like motor-skills and memorization skills.

Utterly amazing!!! Most of Paganini's guitar repertoire is pretty boring with the exception of a few gems. It is truly remarkable how he has made these pieces so beautiful!!

listening to this makes me realize how many of the more 'modern' guitars are lacking the singing quality of those treble strings. Somehow I always feel that a lot of us get to hung up on deep basses instead...
@docdoc5 жыл бұрын
Yeah you really don't need as much from the basses as from the trebles, that is, if the trebles aren't great having a big bass doesn't do much. It's also easier to get good bass sound from a guitar trebles and other qualities are the name of the game.

Great playing. I just wish they had somehow cut out his breathing. Smoking too much? Or just a too-close mike???
@loldoctor6 жыл бұрын
112yrs he’s notorious for this sort of stuff: making faces and breathing, sometimes in a way that sounds more like humming. I would recommend watching his “and you go Ithaca too?”
@stevegeorge91126 жыл бұрын
He is just too old and can't help back his emotion since guitar music is his life. You can tell that a musician like him can even play when sleeping...or maybe he was thinking about a glass of wine and a cigar after this performance. You need to call him to find out.
