Idk. As a huge rollerblader myself (not aggressive, big wheels) half of the importance of my skates is the ankle stability they give me. Your ankles are so important to keep safe and functioning for you to maintain a normal life. These look like one bad unexpected fall (common when wheels are attached to your feet) could spin your ankle any way life wants. They def look fun I can’t lie. But as someone who’s broke their ankle with support, I’ll definitely never de trying anything like these

I roll my kankles so often I bought crazy nice braces. But I don't want my dumb ankles to get lazy and rigid, so I just let them flop around and make noises like fireworks. It's more fun and keeps me limber

I just got my own pair. Having them has been a great time and has led me down the road of looking to get a onewheel or an EUC. I'll have to get back on Facebook so I can be more in the know on betas like these. Airtrick said they'll be coming out with an inline version, I'd be interested in a bigger wheel/offroad version for trails since the speed isn't too bad.

I tried these out. The are definitely underpowered. I’m close to the max weight and even slight hills are too much for them. Regen braking is pretty weak. It’s okay for braking on level ground but definitely not on even shallow hills. The stopper can help if you practice that enough. I had a max speed of 15mph with no load, just holding them in my hand. I didn’t like the straps either. Too stretchy and hard to adjust. I do love the size and weight. I wanted them to be able to work but not for me. They would be great for level smooth ground and need something compact. I’ll stick with my skateboard and Onewheel which are faster, able to use on hills, handle bumps in the pavement much better and longer range. They can’t beat the air tricks on size and weight though. Air trick needs to come out with a more powerful motor and ability to break harder when needed. More useful strap choices are needed too.
@JakeLeary
@JakeLeary 2 жыл бұрын
What’s the max weight? And were you on the standard version or pro?
@rustinroy9911
@rustinroy9911 2 жыл бұрын
@@JakeLeary 100kg/220lbs. I’m 215lbs using the pro skates. They claimed 7-13 deg hill climb I figured I could do 7 since I’m at the heavier end but they said the 7-13 deg climb is at their standard weight of 150lbs. Think they could work for lighter people looking for a small package and don’t live in hilly areas. I’ll stick with the Onewheel and skateboard though.

I also used rollerblades as a kid then I picked up skating when I was 12 and still do occasionally. I got back into rollerblading again in the beginning of the year and while I can agree that it's slow in the beginning, you learn the flow and it gets easier over time and you can pick up speed imo. One thing to mention is the wheel size of your rollerblades. I'm thinking maybe you had small wheels that caused your experience to feel that way? Idk cool video tho!

23 years ago they had something like this but they were magnetically driven powered by netrium batterie, and Jet Set Radio, a pirate radio station manned by the DJ Professor K, that plays nothing but non-stop, hardcore music. Those street punks have been named 'Rudies' by the people of Tokyo-to. They roam the streets and cover the city with their own, personal graffiti, claiming that it is their way of expressing themselves to the world. However, ever since the Metropolitan Government and the financial conglomerate, the Rokkaku Group, combined their efforts to form the 21st Century Project, the streets of Tokyo-to have never been the same again. Police crackdowns on the Rudies have become more severe, and Captain Onishima is more anxious than ever to put them behind bars. The streets of Tokyo-to are ready to explode...
