The Pavetesting Laser Surface Profilometer's PaveProf system of 3D laser sensors is capable of real time continuous measurements of longitudinal and transversal profile, rut depth and macro texture used in the transportation industry for application such as inspection of highway and runway profiling. These values can be then used to calculate ride comfort, surface friction and surface noise generation.
