its not easy to take him down. Sergei started wrestling at 5 years of age. Overeem tripped him on short notice with jet lag and still got mlucky. I'm more concerned with his guard/defence on his back

I think anyone who doesn't just stand in front of him, uses movement and kicks will pick him apart. He has no idea what defense is, walks into distance and seems pretty one dimensional. You guys all underrate Gane now because the goat dismantled him, but he has handily beaten almost every other striker in the division and I'd expect him to do the same against Pav, who is very unproven at this level

you're making it sound like he's an amateur. He's very hard to take down. If you're referring to that overeem "take down" then watch it again cause it was more of a trip out of balance imo. He's a very capable wrestler, that loss is just so anecdotal. If you look at his career as a whole, that loss doesn't make much sense. . because of that, i Don't think it's enough to conclude his takedown defense is lacking. He's an award winning wrestler.

All 6 of this guys UFC fights have been finished in the first round. He got finished in the 1st round by Overeem. Then Pavlovich proceeded to finish his next 5 opponents in the 1st round. People say that he's a future champ, but until I see his gas tank and power carry over into the championship rounds, then I'm not ready to agree with that statement just yet. Absolute killer though.
