This set defined the feeling of hardstyle back then. It wasn't until after we attented Sensation Black and really realised how legendary this set from Pavo was. We played it for years after. In 2004 it didn't matter how many records you produced, how many likes you had on the socials. All you needed were skills. And this guy had them. Almost 16 years ago, I wasn't even 17 when we went there. I still think alot about this time, probably the best time of my youth!

Right? Back in the day when Dj's were still nerdy nerds loving music in a very different way than others. These days its so easy with the sync buttons and stuff its not a form of art anymore imo, any fucking idiot can do it these days. BTW, what you did have back in the days was that they put on a pre-mixed CD (not an album, just pre-recorded set) and act like they were spinning live, not sure if thats also a thing now. Headhunterz did this at Defqon (2005/2006/2007 not sure anymore atleast one of those years) for example.

Este es el Hardstyle oscuro y potente que me enamore hasta el 2010 con los sensation black, Defqon 1 Qlubtempo y Qlimax era lo mejor, con derivados del hard trance, Jumpstyle, hardcore y hardhouse. Pero ahora es todo chillon parecido al edm pero más rápido. 😑
