Hi Peter. I think the fuel was maybe old and maybe the ether had evaporated a little. Normally goes first flick, but of course when on camera it plays difficult! I think on this video I encountered every possible problem .... good training video perhaps?. Bests john

PAWs certain,y hide their light under a bushel! Mine has 'tbr' on one lug - for twin ball race. No name, no brand , no logo. Just quality.

Pleasure ... its an 8x4 prop, SouthernModelcraft sport fuel. Two ways to stop motor a) pinch fuel tube or b) put fingers in prop. I would go for the former method. Also not visible in the vid, always use a fuel filter. Will have the dog dancing to the next one!

Thanks for sharing this. 4 minutes to start a 1.5cc PAW - I'd say that was pretty good going. Nice to see it is possible in under 20 minutes and without a bloodbath! :-) Why is it that some diesels will start from cold in maybe 5 flicks? (I'm thinking Mills 0.75/1.3, ME Heron, FROG 1.49 etc)

Jim Go for mills or fedfin Mp 040. Side port start first flick…..

...well it starts after all....Some PAW can be a pain...and suddenly the burst to live without warning! I guess you compression was also to low,or to littel aether in the fuel? It seems to me, like you have no ign. improver,as it "nails" when run..With proper fuel,they should not do it and run very smooth at lower comp. setting too. But a TBR is a delight to here running and let scream at max rpm. Great engine for flying!
