In this particular video our grandfather who suffers from dementia got into a heated exchange of words due to him refusing to shower before heading out for dinner. We asked him multiple times to bathe before he finally agreed 34 minutes into the attempt only for him to get to bathroom then turn around & walk out once more refusing to get in the shower which resulted in is ordering delivery. 😂😭🧽🛁🤬🌎

I'm a CNA I deal with this so much omgooosh. The things they say you be like DAMN am I all that 😅It's not easy, bless his heart but where there is a will there is a way lol Whenever I do get the resident in the shower they are so happy, and asking me to rub and scratch their backs seems like hours. Dementia sucks but bless this family.

I must admit I didn’t have have much respect for CNAs & Nurses because I really didn’t know what there job all entailed but baby after picking him up from the facility he was in & then dealing with him I have a whole new found respect & admiration for anyone in this field. I look at y’all like the veterans of this country, that shit takes guts, patience, perseverance,energy,wisdom, and too much compassion and commitment for me. Y’all are a blessing & should be celebrated so much more in this country. Clench fists a symptom of dementia ,and being physically inactive for long periods of time is also another cause. I had to put a sock in my moms hand to keep from injury of that. It can cause fowl smell and sores. I pray he is getting all the help he needs. ❤
