Wish there was more like him when it came to certain items. Artwork, guitars, historically significant pieces, and items that family went out of their way to acquire. Even when getting big bucks somethings are worth holding on to. Hope there’s more clips like this one.

I think you can put a ‘58 or a 57 Goldtop in that category but for every cool or high dollar item that comes thru doesn’t make it a “holy grail.” Just my thoughts.

Not entirely true. Say not a lot of people bid on it but it still goes for say $70,000, by the time he'd of paid his auction fees of about 30% and maybe others, he'd walk with $49,000, possibly less. Auctions can go seriously wrong too.

A guitar worth 50 grand and probably more in the future. Is not something you let your mates play on after a couple of beers neither should you. This piece belongs in a humidity controlled vault.

If the guy was some chump who didn’t know jack from shit…he probably would have blindly handed it over for 20 grand. The guy is obviously passionate and followed his gut. Do you not feel passionate about anything??? If not, you are one lonely, lost soul; bro!
