According to records on a comic book database site that keeps tracks of recent sales, an unsigned graded 6.0 (Fine) Hulk #1 just went for 28,800 about a month ago and a 6.5 went for 40,000. Typically, Stan Lee signature adds around 20-50% of the value especially for an extremely rare book.

When novels are signed by the authors it always raises the value on it. With this in mind, especially being that Stan Lee is the co-creator of The Incredible Hulk, it should only have a positive effect on the value of the book. Personally, I have several key issues in my own personal collection which I had Stan Lee sign. However, I had him sign on the bottom "blank area" of the splash page. In this way, the art & dialogue weren't written upon. I've always felt that this was a better course of action. Still, even though Stan signed his name on the cover, I still feel it only enhances the book's collectability and value.

"It depends on who you're selling to..." Even before Stan passed away, the whole world would want those comics. Bottom line.

Not really. To most people they would not be worth the paper they are printed because most people couldn't care less about comics.

@@titanhades4331 lmao your serious? You don’t think people care about where the characters that have made billions of dollars at the box office first appeared? There are quite literally millions of fans of comic books and superhero characters you’d definitely be hard pressed to find someone not willing to buy these books for the right price.

@@titanhades4331 A recent survey was done that found 33% of respondents where fans of comics if we expand that to the larger population that's still ALOT of people. Even then I doubt people who aren't fans of comic books look at them and go "oh thats completely worthless totally trash" most people know they are worth something.
