I'm a collector myself, I would never take a COMIC BOOK like that, to a pawnshop. I'm taking it, straight to a COMIC BOOK store, PERIOD💯

While a comic book store knows more about the book, the condition and what it’s worth, there aren’t too many, if any that has the cash for a book like that. The pawn shop, especially this particular pawn shop, has the cash to buy it. If you want the most for a book like that, an auction or selling it yourself is the best way to go.

I had a chance to buy Amazing Fantasy 15 with the first appearance of SpiderMan at a comic book shop in 1984. The comic book was in fair condition and was selling for $300.00 The stores owners only showed the comic book to regular customers and turned the pages to show there were no pages missing. The book was fairly decent and they said it would be a good investment for the future. In 1984 , I was a struggling college student ; my tuition was $180.00 a quarter , plus another $150.00 -$200.00 for textbooks. I declined to purchase the comic book because I was more into the DC universe. In the 1980s , we didn't have the internet , but we had comic book shops with hot titles like the X-Men , Daredevil , The Teen Titans , etc. People read comic books back in the day because that is what we had for entertainment. I did buy Frank Miller's Batman , the Dark Knight Saga in 1986. They are the original and are still in good condition. These are some of the comic books , I will leave to my son. If he's smart , he'll sell them on E-bay😁😁😁😁

"Amazing Fantasy"#15 is to the silver age; what "Action Comics"#1 is to the golden age. To put it simply; "Amazing Fantasy"#15 is considered the holy grail of all silver-age books. And as of late, this book has been sky-rocketing in price. If I had been the owner, of this book, I'd request to deal with Rick. I wouldn't let Chumlee even go near it. And aside from his cue cards, Corey, I really doubt, would have the slightest clue about the extreme significance of this iconic book. Rick is the most professional, of the three. So it would really have to be him I'd deal with. p.s. Corey's buddy underestimated the value of this book terribly. If Corey had excepted an offer of $13,000.00, then he would have made a killing with this. Corey blew it BIG TIME!
