The actual deals are done off camera due to Nevada law not allowing it to be done on camera. So the offers we see are just reenactments so it's just acting we are seeing

I dont understand stuff like that. My dad has a fairly big toys collection, mostly metal cars. I could maybe get like 700 for the lot with a bit of luck. But I will never ever sell them, it's such a waste to get history like this with sentimental value for some money that you dont even need

@@ezza5489 to be honest, like old stuff as much as he does. So I might even add some. I hope he keeps your cards, they dont take up that much space (im assuming you dont have boxes of them lol) so theres not a lot of reason for him to get rid of them

Pawn shop will always open the box to make sure it's not a bunch of newspaper or whatever. A lot of scammers. Now if you can see the toy from the original box that's a different story but if you're buying tools etc. you'll have to open the box.

Don't pay any attention to that it's called acting. The deals are done before hand off camera due to the fact Nevada law doesn't allow the actual deals to be filmed. All we are watching are reenactments,the guy had already done the deal so the old man going down in price is just for entertainment purposes

They always know a guy that will come in and appraise it at a lower price because people always tell them the price before they find out what the value should be. Find out the value before negotiation. Keep your price in your head until after appraisal. That way if it not to your liking walk away.
