You don't know anything about pawn shops do you? They primarily LOAN money with the articles as collateral. They routinely offer 25 percent of value. Only a fool takes valuable items to a pawn shop to sell.

Colt only produce about a thousand of these and about half failed due to blown cylinders, and only about 200 are known to exist. Regarding proof marks, there were no serial numbers on the piece, no Colt scroll work on the cylinder, and Colt had the cylinders, frames, and barrels all serialized. Probably the 3000 dollars should have been 300 dollars.

Custom vehicles dont really hold value well. They're made for the owner at the time. Yeah sure, you could find the right buyer somewhere along the line, but that could take quite a bit of time and be sitting on it for a while
