Everyone on this string is right. I inherited my dad's old Major Matt Mason toys and they were from that era and older, and they were in good condition. I also inherited my mom's old Lego bricks and mini figs, and they're still in good condition. Old mini figs do crack at the arms easily, so if they are stored out of sunlight they will be fine.

The age didn't give much value, the signatures did. 800 is reasonable, an eclectic buyer will pay more but they usually want as much significance as possible.
