Nice, if you have a 10' ceiling, all the homes I have had over the years none have had over 8' ceiling

If you mount this on a 8’ ceiling just realize you will not be able to walk under it.

@@RH-nc8uu its fine if it lines up with the car. i mounted 2. 1 horizonal, 1 vertical with different height. you can cut brackets and mount over garage door roll up, as well, perfect for 1' boxes, wreaths. baseball bags etc

@@gregpalmer9073 I was implying @Johnfoster6194 comment was a little crazy saying it's good for 10 foot ceilings but never had more than an 8 foot ceiling. I was saying 22 inch doesn't fit in a 8 foot ceiling... Really??

The bit should be a little smaller than the shaft of the screw. Not sure if it was listed in the instructions. Unfortunately, I did not keep them.

The hardest part of installing this is to locate the studs behind the sheetrock. There are tools to discover that nowadays. But I still find it a bit challenging because I don't know if mines are running vertically or horizontally. Once that's done, everything else is easy. I also don't understand when you said "When you can put this tape on your ceiling exactly where you want it at 3:25 and it will tell you exactly where to install" What happens if you put it off center or, worse, not directly on the studs? I have never used this tape before and was curious about how accurate it could be. I installed a 4x8 Fleximount a couple of years ago, spending hours poking around the ceiling trying to locate the studs despite the help from one of those stud locators.

The tape is to give you the correct distance between the vertical bars and to give you the correct placement of the brackets
