I am so excited that all of the Parselmouths will be playing together once more! I will be excitedly waiting for footage to pop up online since I cannot attend. I wish your vocal chords all the strength they need. I like your nanowrimo revising idea, I may have to do that with one of my stories this year because I think I will be more busy than usual. This was my first video of yours in awhile, but I just wanted to say that you've inspired me for years (I think I was in high school when I started watching and I'm now 24) and I just remembered that the first time I did NaNo was because I'd heard about it from you. I'm also planning a rewrite NaNo this year from my novel two years ago (though not in a castle, sadly.) Thanks for everything, pumped to see you again at LeakyCon and NerdCon Nerdfighteria.

4th year Nanowrimo, 3rd year ML. 3rd year tackling this ginormous idea hopefully will finally come to the end of book 1 (80,000 into my novel and only at the midpoint). Will be challenging with my teaching job (very lucky to finally have gotten one), my dad's 70th bday on a Saturday which is my normal long writing day, and a Disney trip for Thanksgiving. I saw a contest for writing in a castle and that sounds soooooooo amazing! Not really practical for me until my child grows up. I def would love to see a scenery video!

I was at Dragon*Con in Atlanta last weekend, my first time ever there, and it was amaaaazing. I injured my foot really badly two days before getting on a ten hour flight to get there, and had to leave on the Sunday, so I didn't get as much out of the con as I could have - but I still had a really great time. In October I'm going to London MCM Comic Con, I try to do at least the October one every year, and have done since 2010. I try to do a little bit of everything in cosplay, but this time I'm doing CATS all three days (Demeter, Rumpleteazer and Mistoffelees), and I'm actually really super excited to just spend all weekend being a cat with all my cat buddies!

I went to my first convention in May! it was a supernatural one here in the UK and it was honestly just the best weekend of my life. We got home from it and within a week had booked tickets and a hotel for the one next May. Im already so excited.

I've been thinking about doing Nano for the last couple of years now, but it's so daunting, and I don't have anything drafted. All I have is one not-so-solid idea that I kind of want to work on, but I don't even have a solid foundation for the back story which is literally the foundation for the entire story. I could just start something new, but even then, nothing drafted, and I'm not much of a pantser, or so I don't think I am anyway. Also, I'd love to see that video about that writing class. Could be really insightful.

When you think about it more in the context of you sitting down and just.... making time for writing, seeing what comes out, not putting an extreme amount of pressure on it.. not so daunting! The worst thing we can do is let our fear of a thing stop us from even starting.

Last year was my first successful NaNoWriMo :) I tried 2 (or 3?) times before, but gave up really quickly on them.. haha :'D I thought I could continue writing my story from last year's NaNo because I still love it and haven't finished it during last year or I also wanted to write a fan fiction as a present for my friend. Not technically what you're supposed to write for NaNoWriMo, but as I only write for myself anyway.. I could do that too!

They are part of a series so it's technically still the same story. :) I've been stuck on ideas and it's distracting me from my current edits. So, I figured if I word vomit 2 stories and get the ideas out of my head, I'll be able to get back on track.
