Pax Dei is a "gorgeous" looking game, with some real cool building & crafting mechanics. But as of now, that's about it - everything else about the game needs a lot of work.

i hope u noticed allready that the game looks worse because you have the graphic bug. in case u dont still know it. the devs posted in there discord what you have todo to fix that graphic bug. its just deleting 2 files to reset it. no big deal for a EA game.

At around 7:30 you said “This game has nothing”. I disagree and think your play style doesn’t work well in pax. What are some things you think they got right so far?

It looks amazing. But currently this is what I told my guild as well about end game, which is most of the content in any game, as you spend most of the time in the end game stage. So imo it is more important to focus on end game over early/mid game. This is what I told my guild/clan, "I think they will change crafting again. If they don't we can math out how many stations is ideal. As certain things take anywhere from 5mins to 2 hours to cook. Also have to account for usage. Better organization, a dedicated drop location with a lot of boxes(at least 70), and crafter locked boxes to safely store harder to get mats, or progression mats for leveling. But as a crafter they should be sorting the mats coming into base , at later levels crafters won't be able to move from their stations for hours at times while leveling. So we will need a person to help craft sub mats and organize for the crafters. This person also has to level certain crafts to create sub mats. Base location, currently endgame is temple/pvp zone? So ideal to live near temple, walk farther for pvp/hide? Also might get mounts at some point which could negate travel times, but how will loot work etc. Gathering, we will always need wood, cooking mats/potion. Mats to craft spell gear/gear/bows/arrows. Wood/pure iron/steel being the harder to maintain. Building.. TBD , currently building is only really useful to climb mountains within the redline. Soon they are adding bonuses to certain stations for being indoors, but aside that I can't see a reason to build a lot other than crafting area/storage. Combat will make or break this game, if they don't come up with a very good combat system then game dies sadly. But lets pretend they do ;) There is a lot more, but this is a good start on how you should be thinking."

Currently yeah, your not wrong. Combat will 100% make or break this game, so really hoping they do it right! Also hate they went P2W with plots.

They already said this isn't a solo player game. That's why I didn't even bother playing it. Building an MMO in 2024 that is designed around mass group play is going to fail. My 2 cents.
