Pax Dei SHOCKING Resource Respawn Timers Revealed

I decided to time exactly how long it takes for resources to respawn in Pax Dei, and what I found was SHOCKING. Even the most COMMON resources in the game have a HUGE respawn timer. THIRTY WHOLE MINUTES for basic clay and iron to come back? When there's several hundred players and only four spawn points near a massive super village or sweaty clan no one else during prime time hours gets anything at all! There's a reason everyone is just afk camping resources nodes, the spawn rate for resources is WAY TOO LOW and I doubt devs will alter or change this at all! People warned me that this "mmo" would be a massive time sink but I didn't think they'd make it this bad!

No wonder guilds and big villages are having people literal afk on spawn spots. This game is nearly unplayable unless you log in at 3am to gather. I know for a fact small trees respawn within 10 minutes. I sat next to my house and turn the timer on and observed. But sometimes the big rocks at the quarries take forever and I just leave.

Wait until bots get into this game. Every mmorpg is plagued with teleporting bots. What happens when this happens?

Ressource gathering in crowded areas is really pain, dont forget, that plot near spawns like wildlife spawns disables this spot entirely. Easiest Fix for me would be: The more Plots in the Area = the lower the respaawn timer gets, but capped maybe by a minimum of 5-10 Mins

I have been playing the last two days and I hardly run into anyone unless I go to a "home" location. The game is a total grind and don't think it will last long if they don't fix that. No marketplace, I'm literally building things and throwing it away. Your guide was a great help to get started BTW.

I don't think the respawn will be an issue as this can easily be addressed. Also, if there was a trading system or an auction house.... At least in WoW, valuable resources with high timers are a mechanic that works. It should be scarce at some point.

Do they still build walls around the resources? Did they fix that?

Inside buildable areas near mega guilds are ALL walled off. But there are parts of the map that can't be built on but those are SUPER far away and not time efficient at all to mine.

this game is broken and will be broken for eternity. Learned today that the devs are from EVE online, yes... that EVE online with all the griffing, MEGA whales, Toxic people, now everything look way clearer

This game is completely worthless thank you for saving me time and money as always. You are 100% right the players that listen to you always do very well . The players with like 15 million or less Fame they don't even play the game and they're saying don't listen to swole Benji and then they quit maybe one out of 1000 you'll see some idiot who made it over 100 million fame but that idiot's been playing for years I have 4 accounts between 500 m and 1.5 billion it's absolutely 100% because of you.

@@mimmim13aiv camon man ! 😁Its fairly ok game...at least not worst that last time I played Wow Classic when it released few years ago.. plus its new content and free and "big publisher" and honestly it feels like good old Wow on PC, although not much better but still it has merit to EXIST 😁
