I work sa isang auditorium as a sound engineer, gamit namin ay matatawag mong old school dahil since 1994 up to now hindi nagbabago sound ng BOSE 802, 302 and 402 combination na ginagamit namin. It may not be much but, with proper use and care, tatagal talaga. Given na uminit lumamig sa loob ng teatro. On the other hand, basta kahit anong gamit at maalaga ka lang, tatagal ang gamit mo. Ganda ng gamit mong BOSE, astig. Thanks for sharing.

I play acoustic, classical and flamenco guitar, saxophone, sing and jam with backings tracks and have a Roland AC-33, JBL EON One compact, Bose S1, JBL EON MK2 and a Roland Cube Street EX. My neighbor busker mate got this speaker we went to the open roof-deck of my condo to test all these speakers for several hours and my conclusion is this: The JBL EON Mk2 is better in everything by far but yes cost like twice, no compact but you still can carry it with an arm. The little Roland AC-33 got the best like surround crispy sound! No too powerfull but very well balanced, doesn't have bluetooth and last 10 hours with Eneloop batteries. JBL EON One compact is the most powerful definitely, with that type of EQ on the application you can make it sound like any of these other speakers (No the JBL MK2) Battery last definitely more than 10 hours. Bose S1 is very compact and friendly to carry but got lack of sound for a live performance, you can't EQ. the backing tracks, battery last 4 hours and is really overpriced. C Music BA-28 got a midrange no balanced sound similar to those OEM China made speakers but the app really helps, heavy and no too compact, unbelievable cost like PHP45,000 (USD900), specifications say 60watts. Roland Cube Street EX is a tough speaker hard to blow it up, no too loud but good for electric guitar and vocals i would say, it lasts 5 hours with Eneloop batteries, Roland effects are great but unfortunately it doesn’t have bluetooth and app to control it. I'm getting the EV Everse 8 and i heard Taxes here in Philippines will kill me but those 400Watts and 121SPL Electrovoice claims for USD750.00 is a much better deal than JBL EON One Compact I believe.

I think it depends on the venue. Kung small club, resto....at commute lang, bose S1 pro+ is hard to beat.

Nice review! IMO night and day difference ng SQ, panalo ang Bose. Sana hindi ko na narinig ang Bose. 😂 Ngayon pag bumili ako ng CMusic (dahil yan ang kaya ng budget) lagi ko iisipin na mas maganda parin sq ng Bose. 😅

Durability wise, Bose solid. A friend has the s1 pro and ilang years na rin sakanya, d parin nasisira. Also meron ng S1 pro+ na may built in wireless na cord with improved bose app. 3months ago din nilabas. I bought it and works really good. Only issue is separately sold ung wireless cord ng bose s1 pro+

Para sa pandinig ko using IEM while watching this and kung i set aside natin yung features and mainly focus lang tayo sa sound quality mas superior yung Bose para sa akin though mas malakas yung sound ng C pero mas maganda yung na produce na sound ng Bose mas detail siya para sa akin and yung C medyo piercing sa tenga ko yung highs niya specially nung gumamit na ng mic, I preferred a detailed and smooth sound from the Bose than a Loud but scratchy or piercing highs from the other speaker. Btw this video comparison is great and a lot of information thanks for this 👍

ang bias ng review... i own a Bose and have used BA28... first of, mali po kayo by saying na hindi na papalitan ang battery ng Bose - an extra unit may be bought separately and replace easily without bringing it to a service center. Mas matbay din overall... BA28 perhaps has a lot of apps to play with on the onset but you can also do this with Bose using the right set-up.. the sound quality and expansion set-up does not match Bose which are only obvious to those who has a great ear for real music.. Basag, kalat and cheap sounding yun BA28, lacking the depth. The review does not show how the units should be used at it's real potential but just to favorably sell the other. Sana before din kayo magpost ng review make sure you have done your assignment.
