Exactly. This is the same team he's been with since he was seven years old and they've never failed him. Since it ain't broke, he's smart enough not to fix it. I think he's humble because he's a lot smarter than people give him credit for and he listens because he's a real student of the game and recently it looks like he's applying that same mentality to his personal life. I'm from Baltimore, and I grew up not far from where he did. I know the psychological distance he's traveled. I'm really proud of him.

If you look at the training Tank was on the inside. Getting use to weight being put on him and countering it. Wilder gassed out his strategy was to Jab and move. He wasn't use to Fury putting all that weight on him and countering on the inside. I just saw a good strategy that could have been used by wilder. Shows Tank's QI and patience, using what he learned to setup a knock out. Wilder could learn from this.

@Xenlacasa452 жыл бұрын
Yeah but that’s lame for ppv you can’t just go 5 rounds barely throwing punches what if he fights someone like Shakur stevenson you gotta win rounds can’t just rely on landing that 1 punch

@@Xenlacasa45 Do u really think Tanks team would have the same game plan for Shakur Stevenson that they did for Rolly I highly doubt u missed context of the comment which was more about how his coaches prepared for Rolly im quite sure Tanks approach would be different vs Shakur believe that its PPV lame Tank said himself it took a few rounds to feel Rolly out so ur comment was lame because u misunderstood and a win is a win

@@garymagr81 nah I understood what I’m saying is the casual fan wants to see more action. My friends all casual fans and even my girlfriend was like that’s it ? People want to be entertained and tank looked timid for most of the fight casuals don’t like that.

@@garymagr81 especially considering the fact tank was supposed to be that much better and so much more experienced. When I sparred pros they would never give up rounds even in sparring they believe in win your sparring sessions. I don’t think tank expected rolly to box as well as he did.
@garymagr812 жыл бұрын
@@Xenlacasa45 how many times have u watched a Floyd Mayweather fight and not been entertained??? Several times especially n the latter part of his career its like watching baseball sometimes shit can be boring and not exciting until someone hits a homerun same with boxing one big punch from either side changes the dynamic and furthermore Tank respected Rollys power is he supposed to excite the fans or spectators to get clipped because people want action again he took time to feel Rolly out who is akward and Rolly boxed and did a decent job at it not to mention everyone has a punchers chance i wouldn't risk getting knocked out to appease fans at the end of the day he won thats all that matters but again my initial comment was in regards to the preparation put n by Tanks team which prepared him to land that shot again Tank won the fight based on how he was prepared by his team

They are rough house tactics because they thought rolando was going to be rough. Well".....Rolando did not fight as he described he would , he fooled me and many other's by trying to "pick and stick" and box Gervonta. (Rolando did not try to fight he tried to box)....he throws punches with little regard for his safety. A guy like Rolando will not throw a right hand at a person that has more than 4ft behind him , a southpaw knows that so he sets up a trap and baits the slugger in by backing up to the ropes, it is a web in which the insect is trapped , a classic southpaw move and the left hand is fired. Gervonta fired a cold blooded punch and can be violent at times , Rolando is just not good enough to beat the Elite Gervonta. I put Gervonta on my top 3 pound for pound list because he has shown me many dimensions to his game. from going twelve to ring generalship and brutal stoppages Gervonta does it all and has beaten all styles that boxing offers. Gervonta is just simple put .........A bad ass" these are not the tactics you would learn at an MMA gym , that is why MMA boxing is truly at a novice level.
