Very good people, and I love the humor in the wit. They’re very accepting of me being an outsider. It seems wrong for Muslims to have any control of the tomb of the patriarchs and matriarchs. Remember in Genesis when God tested Abraham, to see if he would withhold his son Isaac? Since according to the Tanakh, Jacob and Joseph were embalmed in Egypt, is there a possibility that they may be perfectly preserved mummies? I was pondering that as I study the parashat Vayechi for the Torah reading in a couple weeks.
@Hand_me_a_handle18 күн бұрын
This might be the case, but it's irrelevant. Once someone is buried, he or she should be left to rest in peace. Being Israel and Yosef, such important men in Jewish tradition it will be next to impossible to find out. No religious person in Israel will agree with the desecration of the patriarch tombs just to see if they are intact.
@TheLifeHeLives-HeLivesToGod18 күн бұрын
“As for the bones of Joseph, which the people of Israel brought up from Egypt, they buried them at Shechem, in the piece of land that Jacob bought from the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for a hundred pieces of money. It became an inheritance of the descendants of Joseph.” Joshua 24:32 ESV It’s likely it was only his bones, the mummification process was an Egyptian pagan ritual that prepared wealthily Egyptians for the afterlife. Jakob and Joseph were devout servants of Hashem.
@bambooseragardenista832918 күн бұрын
@@Hand_me_a_handle that wasn't the point, of course bodies should be left to lie in peace. Am just wondering whether the embalming practice of ancient Egypt, which has preserved mummies so well, would also be the case with the remains of Jacob and Joseph.

I am so extremely jealous that this debased atheist called “Destiny” gets to have this tour, and I don’t. This place means so much to believers like me. I’ve been to Israel once, but our Christian tour couldn’t let us set a foot in Judea and Samaria because it’s not safe (maybe they didn’t want any liability). I would have spent an entire day in this place just to be close to God and His beloved people. Destiny and his crew didn’t deserve this tour, and I bet they didn’t care one bit about this holy place. Israel is a beautiful country, and I pray God will allow us to go back there again, hopefully once Judea and Samaria is finally under full Israeli control 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@maxjohnson-ne7or Yishai footwear was not s*xual. Max the girl was wearing shorts that was showing too much. What we in the southern US would call daisy dukes. Causing the men around her to look at her. If you are ok with this then you need to take a look at yourself or were you the people taking the tour and that is why your feelings are hurt. For goodness sake respect your body enough to wear close that cover you. I think more people agree with me than you just by the number of likes.

I like this video very much. Thank you, Yishai. Everything explained here is very important, but my favourite part is 9:57 "Let's agree to agree." Therein is the solution to the Israel-Islam conflict, a solution towards peaceful co-existence. Ishmael and Isaac were brothers, it is senseless to fight. I pray that Israel and their enemies will find true salvation in Jesus Christ.

Right wing Israeli here- Yishai- great work but you need to be less tokpani when someone doesn't know something. For you it's second nature for them it is new. When he askes if they are learning, you can answer simply yes. Or when he said Mr. Goldstein- you can replay "yes, Dr. Goldstein was...." Your message will be received much better.

My poor people the mere fact that the Muslims do not let Jews see Rebecca, Jacob & Isaac’s graves is disgusting and shows how they make everyone suffer. It’s a terror & a shame.
@QuestionsAskMeAnything17 күн бұрын
This might have something to do with it. Rebekah was not from Israel. Rebekah’s story is introduced in the Book of Genesis, specifically in Genesis 24. She was the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Nahor, Abraham’s brother. This made Rebekah Abraham’s grandniece. Rebekah came from a family that lived in the city of Nahor, located in Mesopotamia, which is present-day Haran in Turkey. Her family, while not directly part of the covenant of God that Abraham had received, was closely connected.
