@dorkchampa you are absolutely right that we do need more such outstanding singers like Mr. Tom to sing more Lao songs. In fact, he married to my distant relative who resides in Paris, France. I am very delightful that Mr. Tom has chosen to sing very popular Lao songs for eternal times. I hope he will perform his concert in USA again. During his recent concert performance in USA, he had received very welcomingly supportive reception from Lao communities.

Peace to all: please don't hate- :(. The truth is that if Thom was a bad and sneaky guy, why is he still singing an why does he have fans all over the world? I've seen singers: laos, americans, chinese, Thai, etc.. singers that aren't singing right now when back then they were popular and why is that? ??? Go figure! Attitude/ personality and talent goes a long way.

if you count the population of the Lao ethics living in Northeastern part of Thailand, Northern part of Thailand ( anciently known as Lao Lana), Lao people in Lao PDR, and Lao living in abroad who speak and understand a Lao language and if you can count relatives of Sipsongpanna ( Hunan in China), relatives of Shan State in Burma, Dien Bien Phu in Vietname and Chieng Tieng in Cambodia, Asam in India who can also comprehend a Lao language, the number will reach over 100 millian people.
