Payachatas transports you to the Chilean Altiplano and follows four women splitboarders - Antonia Galmez, Paula Carro, Marissa Krawczak and Nelly Steinhoff - as they climb and ride Parinacota, an iconic 3680 meter tall volcano in Northern Chile. Beyond showcasing just the challenges of the expedition, the documentary film highlights the rich culture, customs and legends of the region in vibrant color and detail.
