When I first saw Malik's name as the composer of these masterpieces, my respect went up for it exponentially. Very recently I came to know that this tune is adapted from 'Inji Idupazhagi' composed by none other than the maestro Ilaiyaraaja from the Tamil film 'Thevar Magan' which is the source of the movie 'Virasat'. But the originality of Anu Malik is also clear in the music-arrangement. Both of the versions are mind-blowing but I prefer the Hindi version more personally.
