Or as *@Mauer* mentions, you could betray only one of the 2 jugglers, if you play it well. Someone actually brought to my attention that this might have been a better way to do that: with only one juggler left behind, you wouldn't have to worry about the small desync between molotov ticks, increasing the chance of success!

Glad you liked the solution! :D As for the limit, I think it's actually just one... once the 2nd guard realizes that the heister is cuffed, he'll be able to start calling a bit earlier than the 1st guard. The timing is actually very tight: for any of the 64 cuff loops, if I had been just ~0.3-0.4s slower when uncuffing, the guard would already start his phone animation, failing the trick!

Marc, what about RPG or similar explosive instead of molotovs? They aren't affected as much as molotovs by animation desync and can kill host on pager and another guy with rpg in the same tick, while 2 others are in escape zone.

That's actually a very good suggestion, Danilkin! It would've solved the problem with molotov desync, because the blast should kill both players on the same frame. I'll check it out, out of curiosity :D

So, bit scummy but its to kick the pager guy. basically they juggle and then when you are in the car zone you kick the player not doing pager and then kick other, this means all available players are in the escape zone the frame that the pager is no longer interacted with. its a half victory as not all players finish but hey. That is a technicality and there are no rules to this. and even if there were. we are the payday gang. the point is to break them

We certainly could've kicked him, yup! We tried taking them straight to custody, but it didn't quite work... Kicking should've achieved the same effect, except that they would lose all their XP reward, so it would be a bit rude :p I wonder if it would've worked differently though, very hard to say for sure, since I didn't try!

was expecting the gaurd juggle from golden grin to make an appearance, where you sit on a table and try to force him to cuff you, or a body bag trick similar to counterfeit, but this also works . another vr fun fact, You can just teleport through the lazer fence and be just perfectly fine

Cop kiting (like Golden Grin) would've worked as well, indeed. But it's a bit too powerful, so I only use it when absolutely needed :D As for the VR tricks, you did mention you could simply teleport through lasers. Very very interesting!

@@Marcmb i tried joining the steam group to try some ecm rushes. i still have a lot to learn, but thanks for teleporting, anyone who does rushes that take side routes seems to go by a lot faster. I 100% need to do more testing though

Thinking about it now, it might be good to attempt them on PC first ("easy mode") and then re-run them on VR :p

​@@Marcmb Well, the reason i tried vr first was to see what disadvantages I have. Aside from not knowing some maps fully. I.e elction day crowbar spawns. the main downside i see is some jump shortcuts cant be taken in VR. which for most rushes isnt a big downside given the fact i can speed through most sections on the normal path faster than a player could. I also found the ability of grabing bags behind me to be really handy in big bank

As you say, you'll get a lot of useful information either way :p So does that mean that things like the window shortcut on Election Day (DAY2) can't be used in VR? Interesting. I can imagine that looting Big Bank in VR must be an amazing feeling... hopefully I can experience that someday :D

Hey Milosz! This was indeed the project I was talking about :p Being able to participate in one is all a matter of skill: most of my crew videos are ECM rushes, so if you're outstanding in those, you're almost guaranteed to get a spot in one of these :D

This one is not so far from Counterfeit Stealth in terms of originality, not gonna lie Also, would it be more consistent in the "Betrayal" strategy to make one (or both) pager jugglers place Shaped Charges under them and tell one of them to blow themselves up when you will be in an escape zone?

Thank you very much, Miles! Glad you liked the new tricks, that's great to hear :D As for your suggestion, that might actually be better, yeah! Molotov ticks have a tiny bit of desync so both jugglers don't die at exactly the same frame, which causes problems. Trip mines might indeed solve that issue: I haven't used them too much for friendly fire so I don't know if they'll be perfectly synched, but it's definitely worth trying!

Wait, I don't follow 100% Why do you only need to juggle one pager? You've killed the other guards as well. Aren't they gonna ring? Edit: After rewatching it I saw you pointed at pagers used. However... When did you guys use it?

Hey T-Reye! Glad you asked, no worries :) The whole rush goes very fast because as soon as we go in we only have 20s to find the alarm and do a bunch of things, but basically here's how it goes: the 1st ECM that I place is a Tier 2 ECM. This means that it lasts for 25s only, and it doesn't block pagers: this allows us to answer the first few pagers easily, while I go to the alarm box by following its beeping sound. As soon as a 4th pager goes off, someone with Tier 3 ECMs will quickly deploy their ECM, overlapping with mine. This ensures that, as soon as we start juggling, there is only one pager that needs to be dealt with!

Haha! For more "educational" rushes I always make sure to add a section with detailed instructions and descriptions of the roles, but this one was more of a demonstration, so it's understandable that some details were hard to follow. Glad I could clear it up! :)
