There is no legal issue, Starbreeze have publishing rights for most of the music Simon made for the Payday franchise as he was directly under their employment. In fact he's even directly stated that he doesn't have the distribution rights for Gun Metal Grey 2015 on twitter. Not creating a direct remix was a creative decision (either by Gus or something Sbz asked him to do) and not a legal one.

Idk why, but this gives me very John wick OST mixed with Cheshyre's Madness Combat music. With a tiny hint of Ksho's music thrown in there too. Plus a bit of Payday 2 and PD:TH Aswell... I kinda like it. I'd rate the track... 89/100. Pretty good!

Listen if the game was good and the game had love and cared about itself other than money then I wouldn't care but the fact that it's underwhelming and the game is ass and so just makes me more upset at it... Helldiver's 2 is such a good game and has love behind it and cares about the community so when there is a bug or something a little goofy I don't care as much because why would i... But payday 3 is such a fucking disgrace to Payday franchise a small thing makes it a big thing
