Great vid my man! Good timing cause I forgot I needed to clear this one still. I'm thinking about using Barrett for my main DPS for this run. I got him to level 60 and since his Heavy Hausser is at OB8 for me he actually hits REALLY hard plus a crit chance I am able to hit roughly 12-13k(or closer to 15k with buffs/debuffs) and even saw him hit a 24k Crit! I honestly don't know why I haven't been using him more since, on paper, he is the highest DPS I have when looking at non-element weakness, but even then all my other chars, like Thunder Cloud, Ice Seph/Tifa, or even Wind Aerith, Barrett hits just as hard as they do with non-element. Similar to your Manaward, I also got lucky with the Ice Breech I bought from the crisis shop and the substats mostly went into Patt% and it got up to 6.5% which is the highest I have on any of my Materia

I also prefer to see full run. It's easy to skip ahead in the video if you just want the boss fights. Gives the viewer the option and saves on editing too

wouldnt bother with it if you ask me. . feels impossible until i have a really good aoe shell weapon . or at least a 5* copy of bandaged sword . my red 13 and matt have one but they are too weak . . i need more dps to keep his megaflare from going off so often

I have a really good bandage sword I’m just doing the dance of learning the fight effectively. Getting to the sigil phase but not saving enough atb in advance and it’s ruining me

@adamlayton7108 nice man. I'm totally gonna play it chill since I haven't been really building any sort of magical offensive weapon. I only recently got my motor drive to OB9 and fairytale to OB10.. I probably have spent like 4 bucks of my own cash in this game lol, so I'm nothing even of a dolphin. I bought the last 2 season pass with gift cards and 2 of the 300 red crystal 5* tickets.. if it takes this long to even get a single weapon to OB10, it's best to not worry about fights that require a specific set up. I mean, eventually you should be able to just brute thru these kinds of battles but that is a far FAR away scenario

It's also not just about power level. Making sure you have the right R abilities, getting good stats from materia, and taking battles in certain orders while maximizing your trance selections will help tremendously.

@@Iggy010 i died quite often my blind playthru still got an S somehow lmao . second time around was no joke either , they hit really hard if you dont set up any def/ resist . just got to remember to save ifrit for those wolves , they nearly kill my entire team with just a few bites

NPCs didn't use their skills because you had it on manual... also, it's a little sus to advertise F2P clears with crossover weapons that can't be obtained... while technically true, doesn't feel good for those f2p that skipped those banners / there is no access to them...

It's not sus lol. It's part of the game. I skipped many banners to save for these banners and not to mention they were used rarely considering the elemental weapons were the main dmg. And no even on auto they stay almost with full bars. Before a few updates, on manual they were more active

Lmao people always got something to say abt this.. there were also people who said how these weapons are useless because they are non elemental and how the game is basically made to play elemental gears only. Some dude actually argued that and I already said that if you don't at least have a few good non elemental weapons, you will be gated at certain point . And look what happens , we have limited bosses who are immune to elemental damage that I could not clear without a beefed up non element weapon. I'm not complaining abt it because I think they will rerun at some point, just reminding folks they shuld really pay attention to these things if they want to overperform as f2p

​@servantofgod8769 Saved my gems for banners like this. Been playing SQ games and I knew there will be collabs. And since my main dps is Cloud and debuffer tifa, went all in. With Zidane Sword as Off-hand for Cloud, still doing tons of Element damage since it boost my physical ability damage. Collabs will come again, so hopefully they are saving their Gems. Since there's total of 39 Free 10 draws. If they spent it all and new collab arrives, it's their fault for not being patient.

@@akinamori1615 it for sure is the smart way to play if you are f2p . on the other hand , im mostly an aesthitics guy lol , i draw for the costume instead . i did manage to get at least one copy of tifa and aerith 5* collab weapon , which i will work on strictly with the weapon specific tickets . sadly , for cloud i could only get his 4* zidane sword . this game is quite generous compared to many square gachas . . you will never satisfy everyone lol

You messed up in your video. While you were introducing Aerith's gear, it was initially shown that you had only the circle sigil equipped. On the battlefield, you removed Blizzara and added the X sigil. Not cool that you didn't disclose that during the video. I wasted two crisis tickets because of your oversight.
