The best decision I made for Baran was getting and adding Harper to my lineup, her Break Effectiveness and Stun as a support for SJW really helped a lot even in other contents! Mirei + Harper + Hansemi helped me cruise all the challenges. I didn't even plan to A5 her but the game gave me a double pull on her! took me 190 Tickets to A5

The issue w preparing is that we dont have leaks anymore, we will know Jeju islands weakness probably a week or 2 before and same will be for all future content since leaks stoppped being so open, so now we just have to guess what next content is and pull randomly based of guesses

Woo at A2 was more then enough. I cleared hard Kaisel with A1 Woo. I'm a global player, never summoned or got a single copy of the lolis, cleared hard Baran anyways. Full wind team is enough for it.

The only reason less F2P cleared baran hard mode is bcoze most of the players are saving since harper. Trust me when Thomas comes out overall battle tier of most people will skyrocket. People have just not summoned rate up banner since months

I cleared hard baran yesterday it was a close call only 0.3 time left, my TP was 921k I tried many times with a5 moonshadow and a5 plum but failed, then I tried a5 DKD and a5 plum cleared it for the first run. My supports are mirei, jinchul, hansemi all A5

Me too, with moon shadows I can't complete it, but with dkl a3 + plum a5 I did it and even more I do it with out any blessings as full f2p, I use Emma cha and meilin when SJW, and go a1 + cha a6 +mirei a5 when hunters

Sorry Payne, I don't think you made the wrong choice with Charlotte (maybe with Go Gunhee, but I don't think he would make a difference in your fight against Kaisel or Baran) and the reason is the same as you already mentioned, your account would still lack battle power. I beat Baran without any breaker, using Mirei A9, Cha A6 and Min A6 as support, and on Kaisel for the first time I used Mirei A6, Woo A2 and Min A6, what made the biggest difference by far in my account was forcing my cores to evolve. In the end, this is one of the beauties of SLA, you have several options and strategies, but with Baran we know that power is the main factor.

I did all my runs with wind team Mirei full A5 Woo A4 with A5 weapon and Hansemi full A2. But Baran i fell short with good supports, then did what i had (exchanged all the best gear, borrowed weapons and make a team from Min,Woo and SM Baek) to boost Songs damage, and it worked well so i ended up around 5k-ish in Baran Hard mode.

A3 Woo is absolutely goated for hard mode but u gotta do his skill rotations+dashes properly. I passed Baran with A2 Min A3 Woo and A4 Bora and most of my TP came from lv10 cores, A10 weapons i crafted and Shadow army+armory. Kaiselin was a hard fight but A5 Mirei A3 woo and A2 Hansemi was enough again most power deficit was covered from cores and shadows+armory

Payne I think you can do the hard mode if you want. I did my first run of 80F with A0 Harper, A3 min and A5 Charlotte with 860k tp try to get maximum total power Charlotte by giving her gunhee curse and giving cores of the with mp consumption reduction and mp recovery increase with flat stat cores to everyone. Try to max out the sum of the cores and give to everyone. You need around 215k tp of every hunter in the team. You can also do it using Harper, Han semi, and merei also. Baran you can do with using Han semi Harper and cha. Your cha can reach maximum tp i think and you'll get around 910 to 915tp if you optimize your builds

Your low cp might have been because of the expert set. So expert set has added multipliers for dmg however, you still have that cp gap. Same thing with full curse. You close up the cp gap but you dont have the multiplier. The best case scenario is that you have at least 20-30k cp gap only while using expert set.. That would break-even with your dmg. Using other elements other than the ones the boss is weak to is another factor. They will dish out lower dmg than wind/dark even though they have higher tp. I tried using expert on mirei with kaisel and it lowered my already low cp. I failed miserably. I went back to curse, strategically did switching to bypass the mana drain and completed it with my full wind team at 851k cp. Now my problem is baran..

try to change charlotte to hansemi or mbg . if your mbg a5 i think that's really good to use to fight with kaisel . if you want to use hansemi at least you have a1 or above like a3 , also don't forget you cp need to above red cp , if you cp red it's really so hard to clear it
