It’s 80/20 split in the PRO but PRO+ it’s 90/10 . The PRO+ is Live Funded and you get to PRO+ after 5K in profit or more. It’s all explained on the website .

The eval is a 5day minimum trading with a 50% consistency but once you get the PRO funded account anything above the buffer can be withdrawn daily. The 100K account for example the buffer is 3K like I said in the video

Once you have the buffer that is your Drawdown and it no longer trails

To get a pay out you have to make more than the buffer requirement. Each account has their own buffer target. What ever the max loss is for that account is the amount you need to make on that account. For example the 50K account the buffer is 2K. As I showed in the video my 100K account I got above 3K and 1200 more. Once you get above the buffer the trailing stops and whatever your profit is that’s now your cushion and you can withdrawal above it right away.

Most the reviews I've seen are customer service based so it was nice to see a payout from these guys. Been eyeing them up for a while and may need to pull the trigger now. Once you get above the buffer limit trailing drawdown stops and then whatever you profit is that’s your cushion and you can withdrawal above it right away

That is true for the challenge. This is my first day on a new funded account. You can get payouts on day one as long as you’re above the buffer.

It trails your unrealized profits until you reach the buffer amount, and at that point it stops trailing. Just like in the video I showed how I got past the $3000 buffer now I don’t have to worry about trailing anymore.

It was a just a simple pullback higher low on the 5 minute and then I re-entered to the winning position on a micro pull back on the one minute. I was trying to hold above the previous highs as I stated in the video I got out right at the overshoot of the previous highs.

All evals are min 5 days to pass and there’s a rule that you can’t have 1 trading day be more than half the target to pass. I usually reach 50% for two days and then do micro trading the other three days. Once you get a funded account you take payouts any day even on day 1 as long as you’re over the buffer. It’s explained on the website.

I'm genuinely concerned about Take Profit Trader. I have an account with them, but something feels off. I can't quite pinpoint it. Their minimal advertising, the limit of 3 Pro accounts, and the way they mention payouts on day one but don't emphasize the need to meet the buffer first all seem questionable. I hope they succeed and do not go bankrupt but they don't seem to be promoting themselves as actively as Apex does.

I’ve been training with them over a year and haven’t had any issues. Apex is marketing game is top notch. The four firms that I trade with are all legit. They only offer three because having Yolo traders come in with 20 accounts will be too much on daily payouts. Same reason why Apex limits how much you can withdraw in the first three months because they have 20 accounts

Apparently just changing the angle at which we look at things is simply enough to change the meaning of words now.. “Day one” payouts to me, means signing up for the prop, and getting a payout. Same day, no fine print bs. It’s very misleading here how “day one” payouts means “day one of the funded account” and not day one of the eval. A 5 day discrepancy. Maybe that’s just me and I’m being extra about it, but it’s annoyed me enough to write this comment. It wouldn’t be such a big deal to me if there wasn’t such a drastic change in rules from eval to funded account. But when in the eval phase it’s eod drawdown and then it switches up to trailing, so it’s super easy to pass the eval and super hard to keep the funded. You have to pick and choose with these prop firms because they’re all just a different flavor of suck in one aspect or another, with the bait and switches, consistency rules, etc, i still want to give TPP a try but to me this little play on words is a huge red flag.

Yep I agree with you they all have their pros and cons. I believe they need to have some gives and takes in their business models in order to be viable. I am funded with most of the good ones in my opinion of course. There’s no perfect prop firm out there and there never will be. It’s all subjective. I just strategize around the cons and take advantage of the pros. Personally I really like daily payouts with TPT. I like that I can trade news and have no consistency on Topstep and I’m about to pass Trade Day. There’s even prop firms now where you can skip the evals BUT they have 20% consistency and definitely no daily payouts. It’s all about finding the right fit. I hope you find something you like and anyone else who is reading this but if it has too much suck then just don’t trade with them.
