@@Rheebaby it varies as it will determine Employer Pensions as well as PAYE Tax. You can try a 40%, 20%, 15% or a 30%, 20%, 10% for Basic, Housing and Transport to compare the effects. You can use the FREE Payroll Template to compare.

The Finance Act 2020 made the modifications to how gross income is computed. Gross income = gross salary - non-taxable items (Employee Pension, NHF). Also, Employee Pension & NHF are tax relief elements. Hope that helps?
