Hey, for frontend roles, Is it required to solve dsa problems in javascript? Or any other programming language can be considered?
@silentNikka
@silentNikka 5 ай бұрын
You can solve in any language, but some companies expects you to solve it in JS only (1-1 coding round, like Paytm). But majorly, companies don't put lang restrictions.

Hi, Is NodeJs is Frontend Technology?
@silentNikka
@silentNikka 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Vivek, Node is a server-side technology. It is generally used to create APIs (API is like a URL (ie. api.github.com/users/random), but API returns data instead (ie. JSON)) which you use/call/consume/expose to FrontEnd. Node programs can be written in JavaScript (that's why it's called NodeJS) or with TypeScript as well. Stay healthy!!

Basic question: for this type of companies what should we say about the expected CTC? What is the range like (experience * 5) also we can ask
@silentNikka
@silentNikka 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Afsar, it depends on their need or urgency, and then exp * 5 may be considered less or in the case of general hiring, it can be considered as higher. But it's up to you what you're looking for just money or work-life balance too, getting exp * 6 needs extra efforts & in that case it becomes difficult to balance sometimes. Although they offered * 5.5.

@@silentNikka Hey , what if one is already getting ( experience * 8 ) , then in that case after switching , how much raise will not seem ridiculous. Can I ask for 100-200% raise ?
@silentNikka
@silentNikka 3 жыл бұрын
Hey @@sunnysrivastav2470 If any org. is hiring on such hike they would be expecting that much of quality work, again it depends, higher payout means critical stuff, along with that there is a risk when company plan to reduce cost. Again I would say you can ask for 100% hike on any package but it depends on their need and your plans for job safety. Keep going 🚀🔥

@@ompandey4595 hey Om don’t worry, first thing which you find off topic now but believe me after sometime you’ll realize, don’t run for a job run for your interest first of all, now if you want to get into frontend, if you think it’s easy in comparison to backend, it’s not. Now still want to get into FE, first thing first get your JS concepts strong - not alternative. Refer this book written by me- “The must know JavaScript Concepts”. Now learn some basics of TypeScript, CSS and html also. This is your base, now for career pickup- pick any framework- react, angular, vue etc. Create 1-2 project and make it review publically- our community is awesome. Then apply for jobs- you’re all set. Ping me personally over insta- silentNikka. You’ll get it- stay focused 💥
