This clip is gonna hype me up forever. Pritchard is captain of the stay ready crew and a true baller. The Mike Breen “bang” call. Tatum roaring like a lion man he put the team on his back. Jrue knew it was in and was so hyped smacking the ball. The whole bench reaction. Joe mazzulla cold as ice has no reaction just heading to the locker room like it is nothing and on to the next step. Doris burke looks so shocked and the crowd of course is rocking. This is celtics basketball in a nutshell, lets goooo !

Yeah in the Bill Simmons podcast after the game, Bill and his dad debated whether that was the loudest they ever heard it get in the Garden. They decided "Larry Bird stole the ball" was louder, but a) that was in the old building, and b) Pritchard's shot was the loudest they'd ever heard it get in the new building.

On his podcast, J.J. Redick said that coaches periodically tell rotation players, "This is not going to be a good series for you," which is code for "your minutes will be reduced because matchups dictate." Clearly, Joe Mazzulla had that conversation with Payton Pritchard. Did Pritchard sulk or pout? No, he went out and played the best he could in the time allotted and hit two of the biggest shots of the series. From Brown and Tatum to the 15th player on the roster, everyone contributed to #18.

When I saw this last night, my immediate thought was that it was the moment in the game that felt eerily similar to KG’s now iconic and-one bucket that occurred near the end of the second quarter of Game 6 of the 2008 NBA Finals. You could feel it in both moments, that those were the moments where you knew that Boston was going to win a title no matter what. It’s only fitting that they just so happened to occur exactly sixteen years apart from each other to the day.

In the grand scheme it's just two points in a game that is really over given the margin, but it really wakes up the crowd and the team and their spirits. Love it, watch it over and over again. Wow amazing performance by Boston Celtics and the whole team that has sacrificed so much for their team and their teammates they totally deserved this win by the way they played this game and this game one . If they keep playing like they played this series and elevating their game to adjust to their opponents they will definitely won the Trophy championship this year. And it definitely starts with winning the second round of this series Amazing and good job by the whole Celtics on the defense end and the offense end of the floor. This is what the Celtics is supposed to do if they want to keep advancing to the third and fourth when the NBA championship which they won this year including beating who is awaiting them in the later rounds. This was a great night for the following players and the whole team. Jayson Tatum who scored 31 points and 9 rebounds and 11 assists Derrick White with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Jaylen Brown 21 points with eight rebounds. Derrick White with 14 points. Holiday with 15 points and 11 rebounds . Al Holford with nine points in and nine assists They deserved the win on both ends of the floor tonight .
