I mean, it started out not great for sure, but wouldn't necessarily call it toxic. I honestly think their relationship, apart from how Payu was at the beginning and Rain getting kidnapped, is pretty normal. Its not a completely perfect relationship, but no relationship is. Honestly in the show, they seemed to be pretty stable couple. But that's just my opinion, and you can disagree with me if you want.

​@@samhead7062 Agreed! I don't find it toxic at all, they're actually good for each other. Payu helps Rain to be more responsible, accountable and grow up a bit and Rain brings out the softer side of Payu. Payu doesn't show vulnerability to anyone but Rain, and Rain puts on a smile with everyone, but they show their true emotions, their hurts,, concerns with each other. I think they balance each other.

I disagree, I think they balance each other. Rain grew as a person with Payu, he learned to be more responsible, accountable and mature. Similarly Payu presents a strong front all the time but Rain softened his edges. They have a balance between them. Neither shows their true emotions and selves to others but they do with each other because they trust the other not to hurt them. They also communicate pretty well once they got together, they talk to each other and I think grew together really nicely. I've seen toxic, this definitely isn't it.
