To all the new players trying to learn Void, beat of luck 😭 that character hard asf
@ethangraner710221 күн бұрын
@@PAZswagger I do agree he is hard, I don’t think he is complexity 4 though. His ult is also brain dead and the most broken in the game so that is worth saying.
Great video. Just some constructive criticism: I would include time stamps for each character, otherwise the time stamps are kind of useless.

I decided on Felix because it's a team game there's a obligation to contribute and if you're learning and missing your shots/not understanding your kit you can make it 1v2 or 3v4 for your team. Felix is bulky enough that you can make a couple of mistakes, simple enough, no reload just set as many people on fire as you can, you can use your Q if someone jumps on your squishies to restrict movement. You can use his ult as an engage or to help your team retreat. If you don't care about being the top fragger but want to contribute with room for error while doing decent damage, I can't recommend him enough. Edit: Also Character time stamps as others have said would be great.

Elluna is by far the easiest character to pick up and play. She's basically Morgana (League of Legends) and Mercy (Overwatch) put together. Even though she's squishy, she has a huge air dash that can get her out of dicey situations. Plus, you can literally just heal yourself and your team the entire match and still be extremely valuable to the team without having to worry about getting kills or doing massive amounts of damage. Helpful tips: * You can throw her healing aura onto any ally that you point your cursor on by hitting Q twice. * Her Q can instantly revive downed teammates ala Mercy style. ("Heroes never die!") * Her right click is a Morgana styled slow/root, but keep in mind that it has about 1.5 second delay before it actually fires out.

Just a void tip for new players. Great combo is to drop void bomb at your feet let it charge then hit enemy with stun, use your shift to teleport the enemy into the bomb 👌 **Edit note here, please don't tp the tank into you 😅. Try pick a dps**

Been playing a lot of Joule with last stand, and the sound design for this game is incredible. The solid *thunk* of their healthbars as I land LMB after LMB, alongside my own health steadily creeping up for the omnivamp. Finish it all off with a dash for the execute, it’s very fun.

Shrike excels "IF" you hit your shots, meanwhile every other character's left mouse button can hit with their eyes closed. Sure you have the fastest one shot combo at like 1.83 seconds and the next guy is only 2+. But to hit shots 1/3 times when every other character has 50 million dashes is damn near impossible.
@reverietrades7 күн бұрын
Not impossible, with Shrike positioning is important, you force their escapes then commit

I'm a beginer and I started with Void, and I love him. Important information before we start: I only play in duos. I started playing the game with Void as my second character, and yes, it was difficult, but I found some important qualities in him that I didn't find with other characters I later tried. Positive points: His basic attack (as well as his ultimate) can go through walls and has good range when used in a precise manner. His area effect is intimidating and strongly discourages enemies from getting close. It's a great deterrent tool to keep enemies at a distance. His stun is basic, but it's a useful tool to help a partner land their damage. His ultimate is devastating; it can wipe out an entire team (of two) if they position themselves poorly. Negative points: He's too reliant on his ultimate (and therefore level 5) to kill. And in a game where we're stuck at level 4 without PvP, it's not the best playstyle. His ultimate also has its drawbacks. It requires exposing yourself, but Void has few resources for mobility or taking damage. He needs to be used in melee range, but his ultimate can be canceled by any bump or crowd control effect an enemy melee character might have in reserve. He's fairly slow, and any dash (that isn't on cooldown) will be enough to escape from him. Conclusion: Void excels in the late game, which is difficult for beginners to access. He requires a strategic playstyle rather than a fast-paced one, making him hard for beginners who don't know the maps. Void isn't hard to play because he's complex; he's hard to play because he's tricky to make work. But when it does work, nothing can stop him. :)

Kinda tiring to keep seeing the "Nerf Shrike" gif, hearing people say "she's easy, just dodge and close the gap", hearing people say "she falls off in high elo" as if this was league, and lobbies are sorted by rank or skill, and as if the top players weren't still playing and dying to her... Just because you close the gap, doesn't mean she can't still 2 tap you - it is her passive - and just because you're behind cover doesn't mean she can't see or hit you - in fact, you're probably more screwed, cus she can get vision on your team, and you have to play the horror game of "when will her team jumpscare us now we're stuck here" As Seraph (Elluna) main, I'm also here to say that while I could see her being considered "newbie friendly" she's not THAT easy - she's the squishiest character in the game, and you will want to uninstall after a few dozen times of people flanking/dashing through your whole team to 2 shot you. Half her kit is healing (I miss her old ult), which is completely negated by half the characters having a 100% anti-heal ability. Combined, those 2 factors mean you are useless half the time, because you can't heal your team half the time (being generous, not factoring in the inability to heal through obstacles), you can't risk jumping in to grab a wisp unless you KNOW you can get away with it, because you drop it in 1 hit from most things, and more often than not, if you ult a wisp someone just executes it or runs at you until you leave range and/or die. She's also not nearly as mobile as most other characters, despite having a secondary air dash - hell, "immobile" Hudson can catch her after the nerf to his dash (I've been on both sides of that) - and it feels like about 30% of the time her RMB just disappears 2 frames after casting it, especially when you need it most (could just be a thing Australians have to suffer, along with rubberbanding and dying to things that didn't hit us)... I'm just grateful they got rid of her being stunned when she drops wisps..

Not to mention there's a *lot* of CC and ability use in this game + you often can't dodge the projectile without dashing. Also, the "less damage point blank' think simply doesn't matter when she chunks you for 800 instead of 1600.. like you're still dead either way

Bro says close the distance to shrike which is near impossible. If she has a decent team you literally can’t close the distance. You can’t get on her if her teammates sit on her and don’t let you. Not to mention her cross map range. Playing joule against her is near impossible since you can’t stack your static. She out ranges you so does every other character in the game. Joule simply can’t reach them to stack without getting caught out. And if you can’t stack static you’re useless
