So happy for Dom. Literally made a post talking about how he had to restructure his steps and do a lot of work to get back in rhythm. And it paid off. Mr triple crown number 8. On a side note him (Dom) Chris Barnes, and Stewart Williams are travel buddies and after this tournament they came up from ohio to Michigan and they stayed in Michigan. Long story but Chris is good friends with the owner of this bowling alley I work at. And I actually got to meet all three of them and get a pin signed! Cool dudes, also Dom and Stu subbed in the league as well that night I worked. Chris wasn’t feeling it and didn’t bowl. And they were up there practicing earlier on in the day too. I came into work and I saw them and I was like holy ****. And to my co workers it’s nothing because Chris had been coming for years

I do have to correct the first 300 televised game. Before there was the PBA, they did have Championship Bowling in which Steve Nagy bowled a 300 on TV. There was also back to back 300 on Championship Bowling (Ed Lubanski 1959 live telecast). I am not taking anything away from PBA but really, there was 300's on TV before PBA.
@drummachine4342 жыл бұрын
U are correct sir! I saw that video too. 1950s shows are fun watch
@moosedroppings72142 жыл бұрын
@@drummachine434 yep and they are bowling with hard rubber balls on lacquer finish. The town I use to live in (1990's) had a 6 lane bowling center that was old. The lady who owned it use to lay the oil down with a sponge and then drag it out. LOL. It actually was a good shot.
@KornHuskerJason2 жыл бұрын
They did say first ever television 300 in (PBA) Tour history. So you may be right. But they aren’t wrong.
@LANESxNOWONLYx2 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is the distinction. Nagy"s was the 1st nationally televised 300 game by a professional bowler. Biondolillo's was the 1st in "P.B.A." history on a national television network.

Dave Ryan uttered the word "proceedings". Haven't heard that word used on a P.B.A. finals telecast since Jay Randolph said "proceedings" when he formerly side-kicked with Earl Anthony on N.B.C. back in the mid to late 80's!
