Bowlers like Darren Tang who can change their hand will always be superior with spare shooting and different oil patterns. Norm Duke taught me this. When I bowled as a young man (I can't bowl anymore due to a condition), the ability to shoot spares this way allowed my average to creep above many of my peers. I was never a power player

I didn't know Co. Springs hosted a national tour stop until I saw this. As a curious side note, Harmony bowl opened in 1977 and hosted a Southwest Region PBA Regional event that year... which I won. Bowling on wood lanes then with Yellow Dots. :)
