Ginebra in the middle of their rebuilding era in the 90's. Ginebra won only a total of 26 wins from 1993 to 1995. Ginebra's rebuilding started in late 1991 after SMC acquired Ginebra from the Palancas. After that majority of the players part of that 1991 championship were traded. Ginebra focused on getting big names in the amateur league like Noli Locsin, Bal David, and Marlou Aquino who will be an important part of that champion team of Gordon's Gin in the 1997 Commissioners Cup.

Two years from now sa video na to Ginebra will get Marlou Aquino. Eto na yung usap usapan na sadyang nag papatalo na sila to get the first pick because of their poor record. Lalo na pagdating ng 1995 season lagi silang kulelat. Kung baga shinu-sureball na nila ang first round first pick na si Marlou Aquino. Those were the days back then. My early twenties. How i missed those years.

Ginebra entered the finals thrice and eventually won a championship during Marlou's time with Ginebra. I think hindi siya mahina nun. The mere fact na napachampion yan yung Ginebra maski only once then that means hindi siya "mahina". Pero if you think na "mahina" siya then that's your own opinion.

By the way, thank you for uploading this classic old school Ginebra game. As a Ginebra 90s fan, I've always wanted to see how Noli Locsin played during his rookie year. Indeed, he had some game for a rookie, but I guess he needed a different set of team mates to really shine as a Ginebra player. Thankfully, he only waited for 2 years to find the suitable team mates in the likes of Marlou Aquino, Bal David, Vince Hizon and the rest of the Gordons team. #NSD #Ginebra
