For me Alexandra is the best UK female vocalist, not just because she is vocally good, but because of the tone and power of her voice and the sheer versitlity of it. It is full of personality, therefore, one never gets bored listening to her songs since she covers a variaty of gentres. But, in the end it all comes down to what individuals like and everyone has their own taste in what kind of voice they like.

There is a big difference between belting out a song and singing strongly, Alexandra has a strong and powerful voice. I love the versitility of her voice.... versitility is the key and that puts Alexandra on top. Her voice lends itself to quite a few genres and not many singers can lay claim to that. Her voice has good tone and quality and she can sing as soft as she wants to or as strong as she wants to. In Hellelujah she starts of softly and finishes strongly.
