Since news broke by Shakur Stevenson that he's leaving Top Rank. Many are speculating where he should go next. Eddie Hearn said in a recent interview that he's looking forward to working with Shakur.
Hearn also said that Bob Arum doesn't know how to promote a fighter like Shakur. Well... it sounds good n theory. But, Shakur has a much bigger issue than Bob Arum's Top Rank.
Shakur has to win the hearts of the fans he so desperately desires. If Shakur feels the White Man, Bob Arum, s racist and don't like black fighters. Then it doesn't make sense to leave one white promoter, for another white promoter.
Shakur might need to link up with Al Haymon. Some PBC fighters have a history of praising Al. Some PBC fighters are no so fond of Al. But, maybe Shakur should make the brotherman pick in this case.
Maybe if he makes the PBC choice. He can make the tens of millions of dollars he's seeking. He also might be able to land the elusive Gervonta Tank Davis fight.
In other news. Rumors are swirling that the Haney's are trying to get the fight footage of the Haney vs Garcia fight erased from the internet.
I've received dm's from boxing fans showing me the article of these claims. Boxing fans are feeling some type of ay about the Haney's latest antics.
It's one thing to get your loss reversed. But it's another thing to try and get video footage of the 4/20 massacre erased from the internet.
We'll see if the Haney's black privilege will help them get the video removed from the net.
As it relates to Shakur. Where do you think Shakur should go to land the Tank Davis fight? Eddie Hearn's Matchroom... or Al Haymon's PBC?
