I thoroughly enjoy every playthrough of yours that I watch. Your gameplay is perfectly paced; you know where you're going, but you don't make it rushed. It's as if the character is figuring it out as they go, which I find most people don't accomplish very well. You manage to make everything horrifying just by the way you peek around corners at enemies. I personally find commentary very distracting, so the silence combined with your style is just *chefs kiss* perfection. Thank you so much. :)

The game attempts to emphasize that you are totally incapable of overcoming these enemies. As you can see by the dead bodies, the guards' guns did little to hold back the Variants, meaning your best options are run, hide, or die (though the first two are preferable).
