It was hard to find a tutorial for an easy snowflake that doesn't look like a flower and I'm glad I found yours, it looks great, thank you for the tutorial!

This is an excellent video for absolute beginners! Thank you. After crocheting for over 55 years, I just recently discovered something that I do automatically, that I have never "known" to pass along to learners of crochet. Perhaps it will be helpful for you to add to your tutorials. Most beginners find that they are not able to pull the hook through the loop on the hook because the loop is so tightly wound on the hook. What I just realized is that with every stitch, I pull the worked stitch back onto the shank of the crochet hook, making it large enough to pull the hook through on the next stitch, and making it uniform in tension. I do it subconsciously, so never told my students that that was essential to working in crochet. You absolutely do that but if someone isn't looking to "see" you do it, they probably wouldn't notice and might get frustrated that they can't get the yarn-on-hook loose enough to pull the next stitch through. Hope this helps YOU and THEM!! Blessings! 🌿M

I absolutely LOVE the second snowflake you show, the white one. Can you please post that tutorial? Before Christmas, hopefully! I would love to make that one and learn how to flock it so I can give it as a gift! 🎁🎄

Love the explanation. Mine came out a bit wonky but that was to be expected, I always struggle with such things. But I'm still proud of myself for making something.
