Dr. Lim you are great on the way you explain and elaborate in such a good way put into word that makes a lot of sense and it is relatable! This is exactly what’s happening to me, I learned a lot, I know how to do it but I keep failing!

I'm an emotional non-eater. So much so that I was anorexic for 3-4 years. It's when everything is good and I'm relaxed that I eat. I'm healed from that, but now I'm overweight and working on fat loss, in a healthy way. However, it's very difficult for me to fast at all, even for spiritual reasons. I'd like to try the True North water fast some day, when the finances allow, but for now, I'm hypernourishing with Dr. Goldner, and it's really helping with the RA, bp, and weight loss, without being hungry at all. I really enjoy listening to you, Dr. Lim. I'm a Christian and get tired of much of the stuff that's out there on "veganism". I'm wfpb. I have opinions on everything else, but just want the facts about foods and how they effect my body and health. As Hippocrates said "let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." The rest is political. God bless you!

My saboteur is my mum. I am in lockdown with her. I just take myself off & exercise/dance/meditate. I am no longer tempted by the junk she buys & leaves on the side where I prepare my food. I’ve joined an online group of likeminded people. I just pity her jealousy now. Great presentation & follow up. Much appreciated. Thanks & blessings🙏🏾X

Good luck. Try deflecting her when she starts. I used to have a boss who would just say no thanks then turn to someone else and change the subject. I never saw him eat anything he didn't want.

Wonderful speaker! Thank you Dr Lim. The book “The Pleasure Trap” was not mentioned in the lecture. I think it will help people understand better.

Yes my husband died three years ago I am alone I hate that too because I’m very social person but the Covid thing was really nasty to a lot of us and then I did get a dog and that does help I am involved in church but they’re they changed to just one service a week so they’re not doing any Bible study or any Sunday night or any Wednesday night or anything like that maybe I have to find a different church😊

I absolutely struggle with emotional eating my investment went in the toilet I needed it to happen and now it hasn’t happened I have a little bit of income it’s OK but it’s not the lifestyle that I thought I would have and so I am to upset about that but there’s nothing I can do so I am emotional eating I am upset and I need to forgive that whole situation and come up with a different plan and I don’t know what that plan is right now so I am in between extreme disappointment and figuring something else out

I can’t even walk because we have loose stray dogs in this neighborhood so it’s Hazardous my neighbor was bitten recently another fella was bitten when he rode his motorcycle past the dogs so it’s kind of hard to get out and less you go out in your own vehicle there is a park downtown and I have gone down there to walk and so far that has been safe

Add in vegetables so you feel full and get maximum nutrition.

I’m an emotional salty junk food 🍱 snacker. Around 8-10 pm every night I crave and give into it. Snacks are in the house for my hubby. HELP

The only way to get rid of cravings that I know is fasting. You do it long enough and it helps reset your brain in response to foods. The healthier foods that might not taste so good to you now taste better, and the foods you crave, the craving goes away for the most part.

I don’t eat a lot I just eat often I might eat four times a day small amounts well it’s too much for my body what I mean by small amounts of copper half a cup or veggie salad of course it’s going to be more but it’s not gonna be a whole lot I’m not binge eater but I’m very nervous

Overeaters anonymous is available as a 12 step program that address the physical emotional and spiritual underpinning of the disease.
